I was cleaning the hangar when they came, the dropship landed, another operation, putting down another violent uprising, Colonial Liberation Front, that was what they were named, I barely aknowledged the dropship as it landed, apart from a quick glance to make sure there was nobody under the landing zone, and to see if I wasnt near it. The Commander raised the code to Red, informed us that the Alamo had been hijacked by the Terrorists, it would land next to medical, multiple injured had come a few minutes ago, I kept cleaning the oil stained floors with the wet mop, what would go through them when the boarders entered medical, I analyzed the options, Terror, Fear, Disgust, Hate, Sadness, all valid options, the crew had to be protected.
They ran past me in their makeshift armor, wielding newly acquired and blood stained pulse rifles, just a harmless Synth, my facial motors had been turned off to preserve power, social interaction was not required, by human standards, what would happen once they made it towards the door would induce Pride or Happyness in a human, I knew what those emotions were, but could not feel them.
A calculated risk, the lives of many were more valuable than the few, the bucket was almost all out of water, the hallways were drenched when I made my way past them, focusing on the hangar entryways.
I didnt leave any wet floor signs, what a shame.
How do you intend to play your Synth (as in, describe HOW you will act/play your Synth and what support roles you’ll mainly focus on, what is your synthetics quirk)?
Likely as an all-around supporter, as for the roles that I will focus on...likely whatever is needed at the time, with Full-Medical(Atleast when its basically full and occupied) and Pilot Support being at the end of the list for required support.
Most likely to do list, from most to least likely:
- General Assistance
- Engineering(Uninterruptable during ship-wide emergencies such as a power blackout or a breach)
- Requisitions(Interruptable)
- Medical(Uninterruptable if medical aid is required)
- Assisting the Pilots(Interruptable)
- Research(Interruptable)
How familiar are you with support roles? (ie; Medical, MT, Science, SO)
Medical: Decent knowledge of surgery, chemistry with wiki assistance, and how to treat most wounds
Engineering: Reactor Repair, Building, Deconstruction, Hacking, basically anything minus T-Comms(Without assistance atleast) and Atmos
Science: Depends on the science aspect, researchers so far dont have anything "mechanical" to do apart from assist medical or Roleplay discoveries
Staff Officer: Overwatch and ship-side support
MPs: Synths likely cannot enforce the law, but it is a support role, so likely related to knowledge of marine law, so I would say... A lot
Requisitions: Load Supplies, Order supplies, Move supplies
Pilot Officer: Reload or do maintenance on the ships or fly them.

I am a long-time player that has not broken any rules and knows the value and how to roleplay and act as a support role, knowledge for the majority of said roles included, along with an understanding of the rules and RP guidelines.
