For all the players out there, what was either your most interesting or most fun interaction with a CM staff member and why?

I know I'm staff but this is a story from before I was a mentor.

There was a mentor who roleplayed as a voice in my head during my ever growing mental breakdown as a survivor. While the concept isn't terribly new, the way he executed it and provided constant interaction and reactions to events around me was amazing.


It truly was one of the best rounds I've ever had and all because this mentor decided to spice up my round in an act of kindness because he saw me rping by myself on the colony.

OH! Now this is a second story. I was playing Delta SL on LV, and I just got back from surgery, because my foot got chopped off. All of the sudden, infront of hydro, I heard a voice in my head.... "Your attachments are shit". I had a mag harness, I think, all of the sudden? My synthetic foot pops off, infront of a medic and 2 marines, then my other foot pops off.... then my right arm.... then my left. I was fucking screaming over the radio that God has abandoned us and shit, I was legit going mentally crazy at this point ICly. It got so bad, that even fucking command saw this happen, and then, all of the sudden, all my limbs came back. It was really, really fucking scary.

I had a few memorable moments with Feweh.

Such as when I was a CL and a portal spawned in the research area of the Alma, and in my curiosity to see what lay on the other side of the portal, he TPed me away, turned me into a demon, and brought me back to wreck havoc.

Or that other time where, during a bad blood event, after I recovered his elder armor and cape, he rewarded me by allowing me to wear his elder's mask. It was short lived, though, because later he ordered me to suicide bomb the SD room to breach their defenses. Still was a rare honor, though.

During a tribal round way back in like April or May I tried running a neutral med-bay that would treat anybody who walked through their doors. People being the worst they kept wandering in and stealing my surgical tools so I couldn't really help people. I think Feweh spawned me like 5 new tools because people kept stealing mine, I think I was also A-healed like 3 or 4 times over the course of the round (without requesting). So thanks admin mans!

My god. You reminded me of my third tribal round, I think it was. It was on LV, I was part of that little sandstone tribe, and they were all Russians and shit. We were legit down to like... I wanna say 4 people, including me. This is waaaaaaay back on the Sulaco I THINK, I am pretty sure. Feweh called an evac to LZ1, and the whole entire area was SURRONDED by hellhounds, I was the last one to make it on... you cannot believe how close I was to not making it. In fact, I was so beat up I got into a crit RIGHT INFRONT OF THE DOOR, and fucking magically got up, and ran right into the open door which closed right after, along with the shutters closing, and I quickly fell to the floor again. What is so magical, and where is the staff interaction you might say? Feweh announced that we all must kill each other... only one can go up.... and nobody did. Not one person. Everyone stayed seated, all the tribes healed each other up, and everyone was screaming that we should mutiny against the predators keeping us captive. Feweh then got onto his predator and nuked the Rasputin. One guy survived. The end.

That sounds like the exact round I was talking about! The pred suicide bombed the Rasputin when we all refused to fight each other. Bill Carson and one other lived, that one other murdered Carson and won the round.

Yeah lol, I have a full recording of the round I never go around to uploading because it took around 4 hours. That was my one and only tribal round and it was chaotic as hell.

I ran a trading caravan along side Krishia Tuller, we had been all over the map by the end of it, trading goods here and there. Nearly got robbed by the nexus tribe, but they got distracted by something going down by engineering and left us alone thankfully.
Screw the nexus tribe.

Also, I got a log which goes from just after we escaped the hellhound infested caves where, unfortunately, the cave tribe fell mere seconds after I left, to all the way until the round ended and the next one began. I felt like I was playing fucking Metro, but instead of watchers and tunnels it was caves full of hellhounds. I still have no idea how we made it out of the caves alive, from what I understand the cave tribe were surrounded and destroyed moments after we left and we somehow never saw even a single hellhound on our escape route.

Have a lot to thank the cave tribe for that round. Also, I may have broken the thread's intended purpose of having no staff, but I feel this was important to share, wasn't staff at the time anyhow.

I was in complete awe that everyone was actually fucking friendly. I had to say that everyone was amazing, I was just fucking so suprised that it worked out like that... I can still see myself there, with the ghile suit hood and the green outfit at the right side, I was in a crit and could not move... amazing moment.

Yes! That's the one! I'm the medic trying to heal people in the lower right hand corner of the explosion, I have video of this going off, this was a beautiful moment. I tried all round to heal people and the end was actually peace among enemies until we got bombed.

The first 7 or so CMP rounds I played ended up with me dying and only 2 or 3 of those deaths were Xeno related. Another 2 of those rounds I was killed by staff. Feweh showed up to the ship as a preadtor and a battle ensued in the Cargo Room resulting in me being killed by the cargo shuttle. Feweh was nice enough to offer to revive me but I declined believing I deserved the shame for dying to the cargo shuttle. Another round saw me killed by Apop playing the AI and venting the CL's office falsely believing I was onto the CL and WY's schemes.

I was a drone on the ship that was imprisoned in a containment cell. I befriended the researcher and the commander. I asked the admin to make me a queen so we could have some fun. He actually did it, the aliens had two queens for some time and they started calling me princess. The researcher was really fucking spooked and called a full team of medical personnel and MPs. They brought me sacrifices and started worshipping me. I kept hearing voices saying that I should kill them all and shit so I just screeched, stomped the commander and injured a couple others.
