I found out about XCOM 2's upcoming expansion pack's best feature:
Propaganda poster creation with your current roster.
I created three, two of which are cheeky. Enjoy, and feel free to request one. I'll try to update this in the meantime. Also, try to identify who's who for a fun minigame.

Normally I would be ridiculously hyped for an XCOM expansion but something about just "Zombies" just doesn't interest me. I was hoping for some more exotic weird Aliens but instead Zombies, Advent, and blue people. Maybe I am just a grump.

You should have seen the Stream, it really made a terrible first impression of Chosen AI for me personally.

I think what I really wanted was more crazy monsters and exotic Aliens that aren't bipedal, I wanted a bit more morally greyness in there, with the idea of that one faction being able to remove the Alien mind control, what about the other Alien species? Aren't they also victims? I kinda wanted to create a revolution not only for humanity, but for all the species subjugated by the Ethereals. Otherwise it just feels kinda. "Human fuck yeah, fuck all Aliens kill 'em all." You know what I mean?

As requested or suggested:
These two were created on my own, the first being randomly generated and kept by me.

To be fair, the Skirmishers are genetically modified humans, though it does make you wonder why the other species wont take on the Elders when they are weakened, maybe they enjoy the benefits, especially the sectoids
The DLC does introduce....three, new ADVENT trooper types though

The fundamental narrative of X-Com 2 is fatally flawed.
For example, the whole mass genocide of humanity? Totally unnecessary. You don't have to liquify people into neon green goo to get genetic material, especially with the insane biochem/genetics tech the Elders clearly have; this was totally shoehorned into the story to make it clear and completely unambiguous that the Ethereals were the straight up mustache twirling bad guys. A far more interesting story would have been if the genocide element were absent, and you were actually confronted with some moral/ethical ambiguities and conundrums: was X-Com wrong? Is the technological utopia of the Elders worth compliance? Was freedom worth the destruction, bloodshed and consequences? Were the Elders truly champions of humanity's best interests?
Hans are we the baddies?
