Total war: Warhammer 2

What do you guys think about TW:WH2?. Do you guys like what it looks like so far, and is there anything that looks especially promising or disappointing?.

I'd also like to add I think the Skaven are pretty dope, but their underground mechanic in the game isn't looking too hot.

Can't wait for it. I'm certainly looking forward to the Dark Elves and the Skaven so far. While their underground / ruin mechanic isn't exactly something novel or too interesting, it's just a small bit of icing on the cake if you ask me.

I love Radious Mod I used it most when I use to play Shogun 2. I also love Darthmod it's great for Napoleon, and etc.

Going to wait until the maps are combined (I think they said it would happen after release). Pretty bummed out there won't be 'Shogun 2 with magic' style naval combat though, considering all the water. Even if it was minimal, I think It would have played great with flying units and the variety between races.

About a month or two after release they're planning on releasing an update that'll combine the Old World and the New World into one singular campaign map.

What I'm more excited about the combined map, which I believe they nicknamed Grand Campaign, is that it will apply TWW2 upgrades to TWW1's factions, such as colonizing anywhere with the climate system.

I enjoyed the first Total War Warhammer for the most part however I haven't followed the new game at all. I kinda lost interest after the DLC fest that the first one turned into and the lack of intricate combat animations (at least when I last played) made battles feel a lot less epic for me.

P.S. Modded total war games are always better

This actually sounds really fucking dope. I can't wait for TWW2 I really hope it lives up to all of the hype.

Yeah hopefully the map won't lag too much, and we'll get to see some of the Under-Empire.

They are tackling the lag issue by removing / merging some of the smaller factions (Think about the northen Empire factions such as Hochland and such) as well as removing quite a few settlements to make it actually playable.

Anyone have lower performance on this one than the other?

I use to have about 30-45 FPS on the World Map and about 25-40 in battles.

Struggling now on the world map at 20-25 and Battles about 20-30.

Strange, I for one haven't had any issues compared to the first one so far. Had a few small issues during 2vs2 large battles where there were a lot of effects, but only for a few seconds.
