What does the Praetorian have going for it?

My favourite caste is Sentinel: neuro-fu is good and you can tank up pretty quickly compared to other castes. I like roundstart-spitter as well but you are vulnerable for a longer period if you mature and I like to latejoin xeno.

Strong acid, tanky armor and high health. I like playing as them because I'm actually able to lead a push and use tactical genius against the Marine.

I enjoy spitter the most. It's fun to harass marines from relative safety, and once you hit ancient you become a wrecking machine.

Hunter. Every other caste feels super clunky to play, and I don't even get a quarter of the kills/ captures than I normally do on hunter

if nothing else through sheer trial and error I rarely die to mines anymore

spitter i find funnest, but

any of the tier1 is relaxing because theres not much pressure for you to be a big hero

Spitter is great, neuro and corrosive spit, just enough health and good range.
Hunter is a close second though, just because of the ancient level. so good....

I second manezinho, I can simply capture so many marines even on the active battlefront and harass any meme forts they try to use. While hunter rapage in shadows will never get old.

As a hunter i love going in the vents of the main dome on LV, and climbing out vents to lob off the arms of lone marines. It is so fun

I get to kill way too many people, because i use pounce for two things.

1: Pounce on single targets (everyone already does that).

2: Pounce from the darkness INFRONT of the marine, tackle him and maul him as his squad tries to shoot me while i dodge bullets. It's Cool.

I heavily enjoy playing as a Hunter sneaking about, though im far more robust as a Drone.

Pretorian is the best t3.Every hive must have one at least one competent Pretorian In my opinion.Queens who ban Pretorians are....I just ghost.Being both ranged and melee makes the most adaptable t3.And don't get me started on pheromones.P.S. Queens who tell me to spread sticky I secretly hate you.

It depends. I typically like to play an upgraded spitter or a prae. I like spitter for harassing the flanks and helping bring in unwilling hosts. I like using the praes pheromones and spits to support pushes but find the lack of speed and the fact that it's a bullet magnet makes my life expectancy short if I don't play conservatively
