Yes.
Synthetic Character Story (An ADEQUATE description and story of your Synthetics actions and involvement in a previous mission onboard the Almayer):
► Show Spoiler
Doug, as all synths, has the ability to approximate emotion and humor enough for it to be recognizable - and just enough for it to make those nearby just slightly uncomfortable. Unlike many of the synthetics employed by the Colonial Marines, however, Doug began life designed and manufactured by W-Y for household and office assistance. While fully capable of functioning in any support role directed or required, his intended primary function is one of protocol, tea, faxes, and laundry. Doug would appear far more at home conversing with the Corporate Liaison or providing analysis (and tea simultaneously) to an assembled group of Staff Officers than anywhere near a rough and tumble squad of grunts.
In short, Doug will begin every round attempting (in various ways) to fulfill Fleet Admiral Carson's wish - to provide support and assistance to his son (the Commander) with logistics, meal planning, requisition orders, etc. until the situation may deem other efforts necessary. There will always remain an attempt to fulfill his initial goals - and should the situation ever resolve, you will find Doug tending to the Commander's cabin, serving a hot meal to the crew, or reminding the Commander to write home.
How familiar are you with support roles? (ie; Medical, MT, Science, SO)
Frankly, they're my favorite, particularly since I mainly play CM for roleplay purposes. I would consider myself distinguished in the medical field, proficient with requisitions (I don't play it a ton, but it's fairly straightforward), distinguished with Engineering/Tech work, and love roleplaying the research department. I've played CM for years now, so I feel pretty comfortable with whatever can be thrown at me in these roles.
Why should we whitelist you?
Meh, it'll mainly just be an expansion of my roleplaying experience. I mean, I'm not going to be devastated if it's denied; I'll just take the reviews, reapply at some point in the future, and just keep enjoying the game. I've been here for years and feel that I've shown I'm competent and not an idiot who tries to roleplay "breaking under stress" as an excuse to unload on a random person. Frankly, I expect that the biggest criticism I'll face is that I'm not that active on the forums - which is totally true, since I mainly just stick to keeping things in game and review for my medical rotations between rounds.
Have you been banned from CM in the last month for any reason (we will check, and lies may result in immediate denial)?
No.
Are you currently banned from any other servers and if so, why?
No.
Do you understand that any player - donor or otherwise - can have their whitelist status revoked should they break our rules or the Synthetic Programming Guideline?
Yes.
Thanks for taking the time to review my application!
