► Show Spoiler
Va'ja is a young blood Yautja, having hunted much prey in his life. Always, he is enthusiastic about hunting, he enjoys the slow process of stalking his prey and finally going in for the kill. His clan leader isn't too fond of him, Va'ja is very quiet, and the clan leader things he enjoys hunting too much, that he should be more tactical/logical about his hunting style. This has led to him not being allowed to hunt worthy prey to become blooded himself. Despite this, he continues to hunt, hoping for a chance to finally fight something that gives him a true challenge.
The clan Zakaath is very small, containing only himself, 2 blooded Yautja and the clan leader, Kel'to. They routinely visit hunting grounds and sometimes Xenomorph hives. Of course, Va'ja is never invited or allowed to join when any Xenomorphs are involved. Va'ja is told to go down below alone this time, that the clan will observe him. Va'ja is suspicious, never does only one member go below. The clan members hunt alone, but they're always hunting in the same hunting grounds. The planet is tropical in nature, with very little of anything else, a perfect hunting grounds for Yautja.
On arrival, nothing seems out of the ordinary, nothing has been disturbed to indicate anything has come near the pod. Immediately Va'ja activates his cloak and scales a nearby tree. He scouts the nearby terrain and also looks for possible prey. He quickly adjusts his bio-mask to filter UV light, using this he's able to see blood in the distance. Jumping between trees and remaining high above, he reaches the trail of blood unnoticed by anything, barely making any sound. The blood is pretty fresh, only a few hours old, and so he follows the trail. Once again jumping up into the trees to not leave behind evidence. Following the trial he arrives at a small camp, immediately spotting a human laying in the camp. Switching to his diagnostic function on the bio-mask, Va'ja examines the human and determines it's simply unconscious. So he waits.
Hours pass, and the human eventually awakens, the human is male, in his mid-20's and is only partially injured. The human bandages any wound and rests. Va'ja waits in the tree line, observing the human to see when he recovers, also to determine if the human is capable of fighting back at all. The human seems to be a soldier, having nearby primitive armor and weaponry. This gives Va'ja a sense of thrill, knowing that it's not some meager scientist. Approximately 2 weeks later, the human is well healed, capable of moving easily and has shown the ability to survive and hunt for food in this foreign world.
The hunt begins, Va'ja considers him a worthy prey and immediately begins to torture the human, as he has done many times before. Starting with simple movements to make him aware of the presence of something nearby, this makes the human nervous. The human quickly rises, grabs his gun and looks around for an animal moving. Quickly jumping from tree to tree, circling around him, Va'ja takes out his speargun and shoot a spear near him, intentionally missing, then disappears. Va'ja snickers in the distance, watching as the human is absolutely terrified. No doubt the human was expecting an animal, but now is aware that something more intelligent is near, as a spear not sticks out of the ground. Va'ja allows the human time to fear what is coming, this simply gives him more pleasure. Later in the day, the sun is descending and light is nearly gone, Va'ja returns nearby. This time he enters the camp of the human, removes his cloak and makes his appearance known to the human. Immediately upon seeing Va'ja, the human screams in terror, takes his gun and begins unloading his weapon towards Va'ja. Easily dodging his gunfire, the human is barely keeping himself together. Va'ja quickly approaches the human, lifts him up in the air and throws him easily across the camp. The human is too terrified, unable to do anything, Va'ja does not see him as being a challenge, scoffing at the effort he put into hunting this human. Regardless, he was still worthy enough to be considered, he extends his wristblades. As he's about to end the human's life, Va'ja hears something nearby.
Before he has a chance to react, the man's head is cleanly cut off by what seems like a black tail. Immediately Va'ja knows it's a Xenomorph, he's heard much about the creature and has heard it described many times. Clearly, this Xenomorph must have been planted here by his clan, they're testing his abilities. He contracts his wristblades and readies his Scimitar. With all the power in his legs, he rushes the xenomorph and takes a wide swing towards its head. The xenomorph instantly jumps in the air, swiftly dodging his swing and slices him in the shoulder as it lands. Never has anything harmed Va'ja, blood begins flowing down his arm. The tail sliced extremely deep, taking a small part of the bone with it. Without medical aid, Va'ja will most likely begin weakening shortly. He must quickly move away and make his presence unknown so he can recuperate. Quickly he wields his Combistick, and launches it towards the Xenomorph. It cleanly cuts straight through its leg, slowing it down. Taking this chance, Va'ja leaps towards trees, making some distance between him and the Xenomorph. Taking his medicomp out, he patches up what he can, however, his left shoulder is severely limited. The entire muscle is severed and it will be much harder to fight without his left arm.
Knowing the Xenomorph is also wounded he prepares for a final fight, most likely this is his last chance to kill it, or else it will kill him. This is his first time fighting a Xenomorph, he has no idea how to fight it head on, so he makes a trap. In his vicinity, he sets many mines between trees, and he readies his netgun. He will attempt to slow it down, where he will then jump from above with his Scimitar. He moves back towards the camp, the Xenomorph is still there, almost fully healed from his last attack. Throwing another Combistick at it and intentionally missing, the Xenomorph spots him in the distance and immediately runs towards him. Despite his enormous strength, the Xenomorph very easily catches up and nears the trap set by Va'ja. He continues to run, the Xenomorph is so focused on him, it barely notices the mines set. The Xenomorph walks into a few of the laser mines set, it immediately has a leg and arm sliced off, and falls to the ground. Without hesitation, Va'ja extends his scimitar and launches himself straight down, aiming for the head, and decapitates the Xenomorph. Its body falls to the ground as the head rolls off.
He kneels down to the corpse of the Xenomorph, rips off its finger and marks the symbol of his clan onto his cheek. Throwing it aside, he rises, looks in the sky and growls with all his might, feeling great pride. He makes his way towards the pod with the newly collected trophy. Upon arrival to the ship, he throws the head towards the floor, it rolls at the feet of Kel'to. At this moment Kel'to looks at him, and for the first time Va'ja does not see disappointment, but respect. This is Va'ja completion of his ritual and his ascension to adulthood.
How do you intend to play your predator (as in, describe HOW you will act/play your predator)?
Va'ja takes much enjoyment in the hunt. He will choose a target and extensively follow them, terrifying them until he's satisfied, but not enough to break the prey's spirit. Simply put, Va'ja is saddistic and enjoys hunting way too much. Rarely does he consider a human worthy prey unless they have shown to be great warriors. To this regard, he will avidly watch humans until one peaks his interests and even then he will observe the human to see how worthy he really is. He will gladly fight a human in honor duels if it serves to further terrify them or he truly finds them worthy. Va'ja loves collecting trophies as well, it gives him great pride.
Why should we whitelist you?
I'm big on RP, I already have a synthetic whitelist. I don't play it often, as I mostly observe nowadays due to staff duties. I, however, love to RP, and I love how preds work, and the rules/honor code that they follow is really interesting and I'd have no issue following it. I'd never break any rules or the honor code intentionally and intend to follow it 100%.
Have you been banned from CM in the last month for any reason (we will check, and lies may result in immediate denial)? No, I've been banned once by Apophis, but this was a false ban as the ban was never applied fully.
Are you currently banned from any other servers and if so, why? Never.
Do you understand that any player - donor or otherwise - can have their whitelist status revoked should they break our rules or disobey the Predator Code of Honor? Yes.
