Clan History:
► Show Spoiler
Zahn-Teer was part of a slightly more unique clan which only differed from a generic clan in three ways. They considered their life to be one giant hunt or a ritual, upon which completed, would allow their journey to be completed, finished with an honourable death. Their hunt however, differed from a traditional hunt in the way that the clan's tradition was to gather the victims of each of the Yaujta and exclusively pray at the location of the hunt with the bodies surrounding them. They would then be claimed as trophies. These two things coupled together, was the reason as to why a clan Elder was never the Elder for long, for they all longed to complete their journey in worship of Paya. The third of which, was that dominance was the only way to prove being worthy of being Yaujta, which had cloaking placed as more of a luxury than anything else, which meant that most Yaujta of the clan used it sparingly. If they were to duel opponents, then they best prove that they themselves were worthy of the honour, which was not to be obtained by staying cloaked and observing closely most of the time in their eyes. However, this also meant that they were physically stronger than most other clans, allowing them to beat their prey into pure submission.

Zahn-Teer wasn't born on Yaujta Prime but in the confines of a mothership, for his clan were searching for a world to call their own. Zahn himself was potentially the strongest out of the other Young Bloods onboard and had an affection for following the traditions which many before him and the honour of doing. His father, Dto-Teer, was an out-cast, who prior to being exiled due to an incident which resulted in the death of one of the Yaujta in the clan, had Zahn-Teer as a son. In fear of having Zahn-Teer live the life of an outcast too, he decided to leave without him, trusting him to the clan instead. This also had a knock-on effect, which was that Zahn-Teer was usually mocked by his peers. However, this did not matter to him, for the only thing that did matter to him was the Hunt and his clan traditions. Although he felt nothing for the serpents which he would be hunting, he felt a slight tendency to respect the humans, for they fought until their last and not without digging into the serpents and ripping out. However, he wouldn't respect them as equals, but as potentially worthy prey, for only a select-few serpents had that honour of being deemed nearly equal to one of the Yaujta.
Before he left, Zahn-Teer looked up to his father, Dto-Teer, whom was a seasoned Elite hunter. He was taught how to use his extra-mass to his advantage, the honour code and alongside that, their traditions. Although he didn't know it at the time, he didn't think much of his clan traditions until he had seen them first-hand, upon which he vowed to fulfill them. He was taught how to fight with various different weapons, ranging from his bare hands to combi-sticks. Another thing that he was taught from his father was how to identify key weaknesses in the humans, for each and every human was a flawed creation in his eyes. The serpents, however, were the perfect organism, which is what makes them worthy in a hunt. Dto-Teer's last words to Zahn before leaving were "Whatever you do, whatever you feel, remember that I'm always watching, Zahn. Never feel that you're a disgrace to the clan for we all know that you're not, since you have more potential than others, you need only push yourself further and you too will realize it." This was what Zahn-Teer recites in times of need and guidance.
Zahn-Teer himself was more of the religious type of Yaujta in their society. Whenever he wasn't sharpening his skills, he was simply praying to Paya. He put his traditions next to the honour code, in terms of importance, for those two things were the only thing which separated a Bad-blood from an honourable Yaujta. He had no need for friendship and lived in mostly solitude. He knew his clan's culture and traditions off by heart, for they were the only thing that mattered to him, save for the honour code.

When the day finally came to prove his worth and devotion, Zahn-Teer was paired up with two other slim and slightly-less muscular Young Bloods. Thweth-Mauhn'tho and Buah'kaadh. Both of them had the standard issue equipment for Young Bloods, which were the wrist blades and the cloaking device built into their bracers. Zahn-Teer however, preferred to not rely on his equipment too much, for he enjoyed to suck out the life of his victims the old-fashioned way, up close and personal. Due to this, Zahn-Teer used his cloaking device sparingly. The planet of the hunt upon which they were coming to was Sephora IV, a mostly-jungle planet in which the human population had been eliminated by the serpents, as far as the Yaujta knew. They deemed any survivors as too little of a threat and so, it was chosen that this planet would be the one for the Hunt.
After a short while, all three of the Young Bloods entered a vast and alive forest, where the plants, trees and leaves were green and there were weeds down below on the grassy plains. The serpent presence could be smelled from far away, and Zahn-Teer knew that some were lurking around them at that very moment. He couldn't resist the urge of his first kill and almost immediately, split up from his group. He heard a growl over his vox due to this, but took nothing of it, for he had a serpent to kill. He was on the move, jumping from tree to tree, switching his vision in search of any serpent that wandered into his view. He was about to switch course when out of the corner of his eye, he spotted what looked to be a serpent of the warrior caste. It was large and black all over, with claws the size of knives and a tail as sharp as a sword. It looked towards the direction of Zahn-Teer as if it could see him, and then turned and scuttled away. Zahn-Teer could feel it, this was the one. Unknowingly, Zahn-Teer chased after it into the large and vast jungle, which to an untrained eye would seem dead but to an observant one, it'd look nothing less than alive.
Zahn-Teer was on its trail, nothing could prevent him from getting this serpent. He was leaping faster and further now that he had seen his prey. The serpent stopped moving in the middle of some open-ground in the jungle where there were no trees in the immediate vicinity, as if it was waiting for something. Zahn-Teer sensed an advantage and leaped straight at it from the closest tree, which was a little far off from the serpent. But before he knew it, he felt a rip in his right arm and saw a large gash in his chest.
The serpent had led him straight into a trap. Zahn-Teer fell upon the ground with quite some force and looked around his surroundings before immediately roaring. From the darkness, two other warrior-caste serpents emerged. Zahn-Teer wasn't going to let these two serpents stop him from his prey. He whipped out his wrist-blades and leaped at the closest serpent.
His attack was met with a sudden deflection. Zahn-Teer staggered back and his opponent leapt forward. Before he knew it, the serpent's claw struck him dead-center on his chest, adding more pain upon his previous wound. Zahn-Teer was despairing. He couldn't let it end like this. He wasn't going to go through all of his training upon training to reach this conclusion. Zahn-Teer caught a glimpse of his original prey. It had its second mouth extended, as if it was taunting him. His opponent was on-top of him now and there wasn't a single thing he could do. He was about to give in to his shameful display of allowing a filthy serpent to out-smart him, when he remembered a few of his father's words prior to being exiled. "Whatever you do, whatever you feel, remember that I'm always watching, Zahn. Never feel that you're a disgrace to the clan for we all know that you're not, since you have more potential than others, you need only push yourself further and you too will realize it."
Zahn-Teer used his enhanced-muscular build to push away his opponent on-top of him. The other serpent closed in but his original prey stayed behind. It was time to go on the offensive. But before Zahn-Teer was able to strike the final blow upon his staggered opponent, he heard two distinct sounds, as if exiting from cloaking followed by two antagonizing roars from directly behind him. His other two comrades had appeared too and were engaging the remaining two serpents. He heard the clashing of his comrades against that of the serpents. This was his moment,
Zahn-Teer thought. With stunning-speed, he lashed out with his wrist-blades and impaled his opponent in the head. He felt something melt but had no time to ponder on it. Zahn-Teer lifted the dead serpent up and then tossed away the serpent's dead and lifeless body. He turned around and to his horror, Thweth-Mauhn'tho, whom was fighting Zahn-Teer's original prey was being hauled into the air by it. Thweth-Mauhn'tho wasn't able to overpower it and was about to die as a result of it. The serpent promptly ripped off his mask and impaled him in the fore-head with its second mouth before tossing the dead Yaujta's body at Zahn-Teer. Zahn-Teer was infuriated. But before he could advance, Buah'kaadh, whom was previously engaged in a fight with the other serpent, charged forth, the serpents skull hanging from his belt. He had many cuts and bruises dealt to him by the serpent and he was also moving with a slight limp. It seemed to take him all of his remaining will-power to move, much less fight.
As a result of his injuries, Buah'kaadh wasn't much of a challenge and the serpent knew it too. He raised his arm to strike the final serpent and was promptly decapitated with a swift and cunning use of the serpent's tail. "Oh, great lord Paya, please grant me this kill.", Zahn-Teer said as he looked on in despair as the serpent held up Buah'kaadh's head before throwing it directly at Zahn-Teer, whom simply batted it away but not before his original prey had charged at him. He could feel its strength upon him and was most certainly not disappointed in his ability to judge this specific serpent correctly. Dominance was hard-coded into it. Every parry that Zahn-Teer made was met with an equally devastating attack from the serpent. It seemed to be a stale-mate but suddenly, Zahn-Teer had the upper hand after slamming the serpent into the ground, which seemingly stunned it for a moment or two. Using this to his utmost advantage, Zahn-Teer sliced off the serpent's arm before having some of its acidic blood spray over his wrist-blades. He didn't account for this, nor did he account for the tail-stab which came after that. It pierced his already-wounded right arm and Zahn-Teer staggered back. If he kept this up, they both'd be dead.
Even after having lost an arm, the serpent was still as relentless as before, not even showing signs of pain. Zahn-Teer decided to put all of his remaining strength into one, final attack. But to lure the serpent in for the kill, he'd have to show some weakness and so, once it came to him, he waited for its attack. The attack never came the way he expected it to. The serpent used its tail to trip him up, which worked as it expected it to. Zahn-Teer then noticed that both of his wrist-blades which he used against the serpents had melted under the acidic blood. He only had one shot at this now and before he knew it, he was hauled into the air by the serpent and his mask was promptly ripped off. The serpent wanted Zahn-Teer to see the cause of his defeat with his own eyes. Its inner mouth extended and was about to bite him. He wasn't going to die here. He muttered a single prayer and then he put all of his effort into one, single, devastating kick and freed himself from the serpent's grasp. Zahn-Teer began mauling the serpent with his fists. Blow after blow, the serpent began to fall under his pure, conditioned strength. Zahn-Teer was relentless and didn't stop for even a second, to allow the serpent a moment to catch its breath. Zahn-Teer could feel his fingers burning away under the acidic blood but paid no attention to it, for this was all that mattered. Zahn-Teer began pounding away at it before reaching into the serpents mouth and ripping out its inner mouth. Eventually, the serpent gave in and fell limp. Zahn-Teer then took a moment to gather his strength, before severing the serpents head from its body with one precise kick, his armour gave way to the acid but not before the deed was already done. Zahn-Teer gathered his two kills and placed them alongside his fallen comrades. He gave a quick prayer to Paya and he promptly severed the remaining dead serpents head from its body and attached them to his pouch. He was slightly sad upon seeing his dead comrades but he knew that their sacrifice was not in vain. He set their bracers to self-destruct and exited the area. Zahn-Teer was victorious, but at a great cost.

Upon his return to his mothership, Zahn-Teer was greeted by many of his previous mocking peers but took no notice of them. He had upheld his traditions and the code and as such, he had done his duty. He was formally given the status 'Blooded' by the clan elders once he showed them the events as they transpired in his mask footage. He was told that although he was lured into a trap by the serpents he was sent there to hunt, he had brought honour to the clan by avenging his fallen brothers. Afterwards, he was told that they had selected another hunting ground which Zahn-Teer would love. It was occupied by a major serpent force alongside a major human stronghold. Zahn-Teer did indeed love the sound of that and most of all, he didn't intend on completing his great journey on this hunt.
I intend to play my Predator as more of an up-front and religious predator instead of the more traditional observant method of doing so. This'll be slightly similar to the play-style described by Karmac, for I too believe that Predators should make their presence known however, at the right time. I also intend to use the plasma-caster and cloak sparingly. More importantly, instead of the traditional decapitate and claim your prey as a trophy almost immediately after the kill, I intend to gather up my victims, xenomorphs and marines alike and claim them as trophies together, in a sort of ritual/religious fashion.
Why should we whitelist you?
I'm a long-term player of CM whom many recognise. I tend to RP to the best of my abilities and I believe that I've overcome my past of a shitter and have matured enough for this role. I believe that I can add to the RP of the server as a predator as much as I'm able to. I used to be a massive fan of the Predators in general and I used to read-up on them quite a lot, after I found out that there was a Predator role here, I've been aspiring to obtain it ever since. I'd like nothing more than to be able to put my wishes into motion with this.
Have you been banned from CM in the last month for any reason (we will check, and lies may result in immediate denial)?
Nope.
Are you currently banned from any other servers and if so, why?
Not to my knowledge.
Do you understand that any player - donor or otherwise - can have their whitelist status revoked should they break our rules or disobey the Predator Code of Honor?
Indeed I do.
