PM to Apophis775: Well I didn't have my bomb set to open or I woulda blown it instead. When I fear being raided, I make self defence objects. I just happened to have it when that drone was in my engines and ARES called it out being in my engines. It's in my RP rights, though not the stock template RP that admins expect with having no personal flair to desires. I've been the only engineer this entire OP that's not done something stupid or derelicted his duty. I defend those engines with my life.

PM to Apophis775: IEDs. Localized explosions if I'm being assaulted since I'm not able to weild weapons until red alert. When it was cleared that the PMCs were not hostile, the IED was dismantled and the weapons stowed. Cause unless the Escape pods are active, I have to defend myself from any percieved threat. I just go overboard with how I defend myself. I am 'The mad' for a reason. I overexert, both in violent retaliation and in my demands of my crew.

Host PM from Apophis775: You should not be making IEDs in engineering. Explosives on a ship are a horrible idea. And you shouldn't go overboard with defending yourself. "The mad" might be your snowflake thing, but remember all marines are a "reasonable" person. Making a spear while your the Chief Engineer of a starship and then wandering around with it for 40 minutes before trying to hunt an alien with it, is "beyond" reasonable.

PM to Apophis775: Wandering around for 15 minutes doing my duty welding the vents, not hunting the creature until it was said to be in engineering area, heard and explosion in cryo, then heard engineering doors being opened. As for the snowflake comment, I would kindly ask that it not be refered to as a 'snowflake' as that is mildly offensive.

For context, there was a single drone wandering about the ship, and it slashed someone in Cryo, so I made an announcement that there was an Intruder in Cryo, heading toward engineering.

Fuckstick McGee here, drew his validhunting spear he made 45 minutes prior during an accidental distress signal (sent from the bridge) to try and hunt down the Xeno on his own.
Best part is that while he was explaining how he did such an amazing job, ARES was announcing that only 1 of the 18 reactors was online, as the rest had been ignored to the point of breaking or running out of fuel.

1. Spears deal shit damage in melee, even if the drone was young, you just exposed yourself to being attacked.

2. Insulated gloves have no armor. Spears have the most melee damage when they're wielded. Young Ones can still delimb you if you have zero protection. Good job dickhead.

3. I remember back in my day, when xenos were loose on the ship, I'd just take a handgun. They deal shit damage, but that's why you pointblank. Your case is that if you lose an arm, you're fucked pretty much.

4. You had no reason to go out and hunt down that drone. If you're that bored, weld a fucking vent or something. Stop trying to score like a freshman in college just so you can stroke yourself off to your friends.

5. Out of all the things you could have done. Superheating the vents. Plasma-bulbing, or even cutting off the vents and setting off a metal foam grenade, you just hunted down the weakest T1? With a spear?

Sidenote: You made bombs too? You mean those shit bombs that didn't even have superheated plasma and cooled oxygen? Just 607°C plasma?
