Oji Kanichi, it used to be Helgraf Jarle, but that was a while ago, I mostly play alien, sometimes I play marine. Haven't played on this server in quite a bit, but I do know how to play SS13, one of my favorite PC games.

Yes of course! I always adhere to rules, I like to think of these rules as a kind of soul binding promise that cant be broken!

Character background (An ADEQUATE description and story of your predators background):
Birthed in the dark, born from a clan that has no name, whispers condensed beyond the voice of shadow. A silent wisp of air is all you hear, you turn, your mind frozen in the unknown, the cold darkness holding your bones stiff with fear. A rustling bush, the chilling rasp of a blade digging into the metal walls. No steps, no noise, pure blackness all around you. Then your name is spoken, softly, behind your ear one last time from a cold wind, then nothing. The Halkrath Sain'ja has taken your existence.

Halkrath Sain'ja was born during the darkest night of the year, to the clan that none dare to speak of. A powerful boom of thunder be heard from the birthing of this great warrior. From his first moments into his life, to the hunts he travels on today, Halkrath has always been learning, becoming a more powerful master of the dark. His trophy room is solemnly cared for, not a spec of grime left on any of the shelves, for Sain'ja is proud of the glory he has brought his family, but it is not enough for him. He has always wanted something more... its as if there is a void left within him, something is missing. His only desire is to find what will fill that ever deepening rift, the trophies he relentlessly collects from the darkness bring him joy no longer, his Clan's fortune brought upon his very existence is not enough. Sain'ja has only one goal in his life, and that goal is to do whatever it takes to tear this rift of his very being out of him, to make himself complete once more.

How do you intend to play your predator (as in, describe HOW you will act/play your predator)?
I intend to play my predator as something that is feared. I intend to strike fear into the hearts of those who dishonor the name Halkrath, but to those who best the Sain'ja, I intend to die by their hand, and great reward to those who give mercy to me. I intend to be a tad bit more hostile towards prey, but not entirely. While I am doing all of this, I won't merely let whoever I'm interacting with imagine their interaction with my predator, I want them to experience it. I intend to use the me verb quite often as I already do, to make custom emotes, and give a vivid detail of what would be going on if you were watching a movie, and not if you were playing 2D Spacemen. Interaction and sensory details give a vivid image of whats going on, I intend to use all of those powers of writing, creatively, and interestingly to paint the picture of whats my predator is doing.

I don't intend to only focus on killing people or xenomorphs and take them out of the round, CM rounds are quite long as is, but I would rather give them a rush of adrenaline. Put them into that "fight or flight" mindset as they try to figure out what threat they're up against as they search through the never ending darkness for me.

Why should we whitelist you?
Honestly, I believe it is entirely up to whoever who reads this application to decide why they should whitelist me. I have never played predator before, but that doesn't mean I am unwilling to learn how. I have extremely little forum activity for how long I have been on here, which is a red flag for most people. But my spirit of creating an entertaining round of SS13 is certainly prominent. It may take a jump in the icy cold pool to risk whitelisting me, as I could be just some greifer that's looking to get a quick round of murder boning in. I wouldn't go through the trouble of writing a whole application just to murder bone some people on CM, when I could just as well go on Hippie Station and do the same thing. I truly enjoy playing SS13 and on this server and I love everything it has to offer. I want to not only be a part of the Colonial Marines server, but I want to make it better as well.

Yes I do, I believe you shouldn't have a privilege if you choose abuse it.

Coming from another forum-lurker member, this is a pretty good application.
I've seen you ingame, and you seem to be above-average in robustness and RP, so that's good.
I'd say post more on the forums and get your name known and you've got a good shot to be whitelisted.

Think of USCM Dossiers as a way for people to comment on your character, as in :
-Someone sees you destroy half the hive with a machete or something
-They say 'cool', some time later, they'll browse the forums
-They see your dossier, and proceed to post some praise.
-As more people see that praise, you'll be known for robustness.

Getting medals feom commanders also helps

Killed 2 predators with a machete and riot shield 1 on 1.

Aright well, I have never seen your character before and I've been around since the nostromo, like you. Basically what I mean is that I don't know how you RP or act. You said you haven't played on CM in a bit, did you just come back from a break and make this application?

The backstory tells me pretty much nothing worthwhile about your predator, just that he feels like his clan and trophies aren't enough. I feel like it's too short and a bit too snowflakey for me. It doesn't show you understand the honor code which is pretty much why backstories are a thing, aside from giving your predator a personality.

It's a minus one from me, and on a side note, you don't have to be robust to be a predator, we're a RP role after all. I will however, give you credit for trying as it looks like you put time into this, but not enough time.

Also I had thought that the background was for what that predator is like, and how he got to where he is now? Didn't know it was to show the understanding of the pred code.

Heres the requirements/what to know for preds

Everyone must apply to be added to the Predator Whitelist - including staff.
Your forum account must be at least 1 month old before submitting an app.
You will only have 1 hour after submitting an application to make any edits, then you'll be locked out.
Pre-existing clans from the books/movies are forbidden. You can share clan names with other players, but you need permission from the leader first.
To be accepted, at least a Head Staff or Seniors must +1 your application.
If you are denied, you may not re-apply for 3 months (from date of denial)

I didn't know that how many posts had mattered towards a + or - 1 vote, it only mentions 1 month since creation. Maybe Rahlzel should edit this to be more concise on what is crucially judged on. Not saying you're at fault or anything, was just unknown to me that posts mattered. And I understand that shows who you are OOCly and what kind of person you are and all that.

I don't believe I've really seen you ingame, or really too active in the rest of the community so I mean that's already a minus.

As for your app it's well written, but it doesn't give me many details on your character aside from the fact they feel something missing. Why is that? What do they think? We haven't had much time with them to learn anything about them aside from what you've told us right out.

As for your playstyle I don't get much aside from the fact you say you'll be emoting a lot, and plan to play a more passive role. As much as you speak about experiencing your Predator you don't give us much of an experience in your app, it's as if you plan to tell us you'll, "show not tell", and all you've done in this app is tell.

In the end I'll give you a -1, if you re-app I suggest you really look at other apps to maybe get an idea how to show us more about your Pred.

Just a general note, never does specify how many posts is required however quite concerning when a forums account though very old only have quite a low amount of posts. Even if its just merely commenting or few posts, doesn't have to be major as making bunch of posts. It just helps with 1. Getting your name out OOCly, 2. Sorta familiarizing yourself into the community which sorta contributes input or output and short. At times, many people have made forums account just to make a predator application for the heck of it with least posts or do it just returning. Being active Ingame and OOCly is quite important knowing your someone in which we entrust such important rules and laws. Nay, we aren't a balancing factor or balance keepers or nonsense nor effect rounds depending on the situation but quite a strict role in which these application help deciever whom we can entrust these sorta roles. I'll remain neutral for time being, will review thoroughly at later note. A word of a tip, you do say your a xeno main, play marine a bit more it helps get your character or name out a bit. What sorta concerns me just recently got playing or back into the game and went for an application. This sort is sorta iffy.
