While we aren't looking at resetting character data as a way to fix the "character loading preferences" problem, we are looking at it for a major update to the character Preferences system. Specifically, we will be adjusting the hair styles, hair color choices, removing robotic limbs for round-start (due to rampant abuse), and adjusting some other parts of preferences that will require a reset of character Data. I suggest writing down the important parts of your characters.
