Your appeal, including evidence (screenshots, etc): First and foremost, around a month ago I was researcher and I did the same thing I got banned for, I went down to the planet surface, brought back up some shit to study, and everything was fine. A admin had contacted me about the alien I had traped and was studying, however the admin said nothing about how I should not of gone down there, and if I wanted to, I should get permission from the CO.

At the time of this round, I assumed that the researcher could go down to the surface, collecte some samples, and bring them back to study and research. However when I got down there, I was informed by Robot that I should not be down there, and if I wanted to I should of gotten primssion from the CO. He told me to go back up to the ship. Now thinking that I could stay down there due to what had previously happened early on, I tried to tell him that I could be down there. When I realized the mistake I had made, I asked if I could ask the CO if I could be down there. I then asked the CO if I could be on the surface, and before I could get a response form the CO I got banned.

Mind you these were my first two times playing researcher. I am sorry for trying to argue my point, instead of just listening to the warning and went back up to the ship. It was my mistake assuming that I could be down there due to what happen before hand. I have thoroughly read rule 8, and will not make the same mistake twice.

Not a fan of the larva suicide so recently.

So you only just started playing on the 12th. Given the fact you just got a note on Larva suicide, it isn't looking that good. If I'm to ask, how did you pull a full job ban for Researcher? Usually, a first offense like that would just be a warning so you had to have done something else to get banned.

I have never went out and suicided as a larva, it might of happened when I was ready to evolve as a larva, so I ran to the front lines and evolved, someone might of thought I was going to run out and suicide.

I think what got me banned was trying to argue my point, which I stopped and was going to go back onto the shuttle, and was asking the commander for permission to be on the surface. before I could do this the admin banned me.

Arguing with the staff is a bad idea, more-so when you're a new player who has most likely not read the rules, it's just asking for trouble. As for the Larva note, it's mostly a warning and doesn't mean you actually did suicide. Unless you plan on being stupid and running into the front lines with larva, the note won't have any real impact.

I think I placed that ban. If I recall, you went planet-side and argued about it extensively when I sent you a PM asking you to return to the ship and get permission and not to just randomly deploy to the front lines.

The arguing over it is where I admit I was wrong about, but whilst we were talking I was headed towards the shuttle, and I had asked the CO beforehand and was waiting for a response and somewhere in there I got the ban. Don't have the logs on me but that is what I can remember.

I seem to recall contacting the CMO or the CO and them saying they did not give permission, but the XO had said he didn't care.

I asked them just before I got the ban, I figured that I could be down there, so I had not asked until it was too late.

Ya it was bad on my part, I assumed that I could without double checking, like I said in the appeal, it won't be something I will be doing again.
