Recently, there has been a report on Feweh doing an event for delimbing people for minor and major crimes alike (http://cm-ss13.com/viewtopic.php?f=118&t=16176). After this report was submitted, I remembered a round where Apop spawned in as a CO and started battlefield executing people for not wearing a helmet. I believe he executed at least two people before getting killed by the marines and getting flushed down disposals. It was extremely obvious that he did this to intentionally cause a mutiny. He also called this an "event". Frankly, it just seems very grief-y. If a regular whitelisted CO did this, they would have most likely been removed from the whitelist and most likely been job-banned from Command. Being an admin doesn't make you less susceptible to the rules, in fact it makes you even more susceptible because you have been trusted these powers and have the final say on any ban decision.
I think it is time for the community and the admins alike to come up with a point where a event just goes too far and becomes straight up grief. In my opinion, an event stops becoming an event when it doesn't spice up a round and is only for the admins personal enjoyment.
At what point does an event cross the line?
