Where does your Marine go when they die?

How do you RP your character dying and then being revived?

Where do they go in those seconds or minutes of revive time?

Cato always feels a feeling of profound calm and no pain or feeling...like a commercial break between bouts of extreme pain.

For Joe, all feeling just ceases, the land around him is caked in a white glow, all movement stops and in the distance he can see the outline of a woman, waving him over...

If he is revived, he is suddenly jerked back to his body, the woman reaches out to him, a quiet whisper is heard as he flies back, "I will see you soon enough, my love..."

I'll let you guess what happens if he stays dead.

Suspended in a cold, foggy emptiness. He doesn't remember anything in that place save for how he got there: exsanguination, torn to pieces, gunned down, burned alive, melted by acid, or the explosion from his chest.

No matter which way Petrov dies, the feeling of intense pain always gets overtaken by a numbing cold, and then all the world becomes weightless, dark, nondescript, and misty. It stays that way until defibrillation - a sudden, burning knife plunging into his heart that floods warmth back into his body.
Dying puts Julien into the belief that nothing exists on the other side - a revelation he's both not willing nor able to understand.

I dont know about you guys but I dont count that as death, its just a very deep coma right before dying, I think you only truly die after your defib timer ends. I dont RP being 'revived', I RP being saved from certain death.

I see all my friends who died, and I can hear angry ghosts all around (dchat). When I wake up I will get even sadder about the people I lost and start crying some more

A monochrome dimension of pure salt, gigantic piles of mountain salt, sea of salt, trees of salt, animals made of fine salt grain and everytime they try to walk their bodies slowly dissolve into piles of salt only to reform again over and over.

Dchat tells me that not only are ghosts real, but that they can also travel though space. I suppose in the future of space colonization, the only thing holding people back from moving on from the place of their death and trying to find Earth is the fear of getting lost in the cosmos...

A Terrible dark. . . dark place. The only noise being that of whiny moans. And a faint smell of salt. He can never remember what was said, just that they were always angry and unfunny.
i like to use this to enjoy my time in Dchat while being able to refer to it ingame without anything gained/learned. It also fascinates doctors.
