Long story short, I live under the same roof as my brother who has also played SS13 in the past on a regular basis. Unfortunately this means that any bans he's caught over the years have applied to me as well. I can't really prove this outside of this appeal I've made a few years back on /tg/ where they've been aware of the issue for a longer time.

Posting as a character witness for TankNut. Been playing with him for years on SS13 and can confirm he hasn't had any issues with his brother for the last couple years.

The ckey was erikhanson, so it checks out there. I don't know what we're going to really do about this. Apop may have some answers but dealing with how the bans affect everyone is his work. I'd support getting you lifted from this ban and I think we can lift it for just your account, though don't quote me on that. Does your brother still live with you? Also, keep in mind that despite the fact you may not have caused the grief yourself, you're still going to be under heavy watch for griefing so you'll need to really make sure you don't mess up there.

Holy fuck now thats a ckey i havent seen in ages. As a TGmin of ages long gone I can further confirm his story. He was a good player when I was around and iirc an admin for a bit (iirc he taught me how to make mech weapons shoot meteors through varedit). But yeah I can second as character witness.

Well, to be fair, he probably hasn't touched it because he's banned from the server. As for the people who say you're a good player, well I don't know any of them so I can't really hold what they too closely. You don't seem like a bad person, but I don't know if Apop would want to try to lift this one. I"d be for giving you a chance, but you'd be under strict rules to not grief. That said, Apop's call in the end.
