Training operations
What you guys Think about a marine training round mode?where the Almayer would be send First to a colony that have a boot Camp in a isolated Island for military exercises before long term operations, the training would be supervised by the CO or XO with squad leaders responsible to training the squad under instructions from high command, survivor would be local MT and MPs to maintain the place ,Almayer MPs can be send down to Discipline the marines If necessary and the round would happen one time for data or even week with a 1 or 2 hours limit time.

If I wanted that, I'd play Arma.

Re: Training operations
We did this on the Almayer before and it usually ends in everyone dying because of something.

Re: Training operations
Realistically: Unless there is some form of combat I doubt this would be popular.
Precedent: That one Deathrun PT training we had (not a good precedent for it).
Conclusion: Meh. Doubt it would happen. I myself am not particularly a fan of the idea. No way I can see it turning out fun.

Re: Training operations
It would probably devolve into a clusterfuck rather quickly, because we all know what happens when marines can't shoot anyone.

Re: Training operations
You could just go to the firing range on your own time in game, maybe a SO could give lessons there and whatnot.

Re: Training operations
I think there is a desperate need for some kind of stress-free learning environment that comes by once every so often.
I have no clue how to play as a specialist because RNJesus hates me. But I'd like some way to learn how to play Spec without the pressure of potentially fucking up, and finding out which loadout fits my style of play. Something like this would also be a good way of allowing veteran marine players imbue their knowledge into people wanting to try a new role without standing by them and talking in LOOC for 5 minutes. Yes, the wiki has guides, but reading how to do something doesn't register as well as someone learning by instruction

Re: Training operations
I'm nota talking about personel training, but a Group training round where squad can learn How to operante without Battlefield tension, where you could even add a R&R for rp purposes and would not be takeing Space from the mais rounds but takeing place during specific time If the week or day, so that If some people don't want to train, they Just need wait util the end of the round that would be a specific time.
