Recent Predalien Round

Yo, I was Mortimer during that round, and there seems to be a lot of confusion as to how I was tight with the aliens.

1. I was a synthetic secretly sent by WY to ensure the survival of their specimen (predalien), and I was the reason it was released in the first place.
2. I was instructed to not kill, so all I did was stall the preds, cut power here and there, unweld doors, call out false locations, and most importantly turn off turrets.
3. The predalien dragged me off, and we had a conversation of me being a benefit to the hive. He eventually ordered for my safety, which the queen added to as well.

Any other questions, or just talk about your viewpoint during the whole event. I thought it was pretty cool, personally.

Hey, you helped us ayys out a lot. Some stupid benos tried to attack you, but I shut that shit down pretty fast. I was an Elite Drone I think.

That was probably my most significant contribution to the xenos, I also welded the cockpit door shut so it'd take a bit of effort to turn 'em back on.

Pretty cool round to observe.

I just barely missed roundstart so I got to watch everything unfold. Mortimer was brilliant and there were some real dynamic plays during the early stages when the Abomination almost got cornered around lower engineering. Hive seemed well lead during their defense in the brig and there was some great back and forth in the hanger.

PotG was when Feweh gave what could be construed as an apology for some dchat shenanigans in OOC after the round ended. It was pretty goofy to see staff starting to berate dchat in character before realizing it was globally muted. Those little human moments are always cool to catch. We're all just people, ya know?

I was the Queen. Predalien was only aheal’d once. (Before the hive ever existed.) The rest was all legit.

....Plus Queen healing.

Was honestly a GREAT round though, I love what happened with it and it makes fighting Xenos a lot more interesting.

The only thing that I can complain about the event was that me being the only Drone of the hive for a while, and they keep expecting me to weed CIC + Hangar + medbay, feed plasma so queen can heal and transport eggs. I kept having to yell out the fact and thankfully we had more drones later.
