What gamemode would you like to see?

I'd personally like to see a map thats "Pre-outbreak" and is actively studying, researching and breeding Xenos with potentially a recently captured Predo thrown in the mix for extra chaos, could potentially add secondary villains like a bought off researcher thats trying to smuggle an egg to the UPP or so.

I'd like the CL to be given traitor-esque objectives more often. It's a good role for some hilarious roleplay.

Not changelings, just something newly designed like Zombies were. No idea how, I just want it. I want my body horror beast in a higher rp gamemode on Ice Colony.

Seriously, imagine how annoying it'd be as an MP to have to deal with the CL being given a procedural objective to kill a shit-ton of marines.
As an event, it'd probably be fun, but if it were a rotating game-mode like other servers it'd be a pain in the ass to moderate.
The CL is made to be untrustworthy and do weird stuff, but nothing that'd be similar to what traitors would do on other servers like stealing valuable equipment or assassinating people.

every round the MPs would be trying to figure out a way to justify tazing the CL and throwing them in a cell.

Then change the procedural objectives so it's not murder. Theft could be good. Make it so they have to acquire objects from the ground. Like the alien resin in Lambda Lab on Big Red. Or escape with an egg.

Yeah. And think about it from the CL/CO perspective.

Heh, watch the music as the CL desperately tries to bullshit out of it like "Just BECAUSE we have a dozen of them in tanks in the lab doesn't mean that we caused it!"

Yeah, that could work. But what about the cases in which the CL isn't a traitor? If they implemented procedural objectives, MPs would always just hound on the CL or lock him up because they -thought- he was up to no good.

Considering I give the laptop/eggs/weird other things to the CL and researchers anyway I don't see that being a valid game mode when I'm wholeheartedly in support of the company.

Adding any other gamemode would probably result in a tide of "Why cants I shoots nuffin" complains. My couple of ideas are:

*Maybe a survivor has a random chance to spawn with a delayed larva inside them. Maybe all of them do.

*All the survivors are animals that can be infected. TFW the xenos and marines are annihilated by monkeys with spears.

*No xenos, but marines catch map related diseases which cause the hallucination of xenos. The hallucinations are actually other marines.
