Training instructors noted an aptitude for field construction, fortification and repair. Several recommended that he be entered for Combat Engineer training. Instructors also noted that his weapon proficiency is just that, proficient, and nothing higher. Further marksmanship training recommended.
Update: Has also been enrolled on NCO training courses in Squad Leadership and Small-Unit tactics.

Born to a Norwegian father and an American mother, Johansen is proud of his nordic roots, even if he may be somewhat... out of touch with them. Dropped out of college during the first semester, citing being 'Done with education'. Travelled the world for some 6 years, spending particular time in the Three World Empire - he claims he likes it there. 'Something different from the Americas. It's good to get out and see stuff like this. I can't think of a better word to describe it than simply 'different.'' Upon returning to the UA, and reuniting with his family, he discovered his younger sister - Maja - had enrolled in the officer training program of the USCM. Within the week, he was signed up to the marines in turn. 'Can't let my sister have all the fun out there in the universe. And besides, I need to know there's one marine in the Corps she can count on.'
Likes to joke, making light of most any situation he finds himself in, and gets along well with marines who do the same. Dislikes those who take themselves too seriously.

Akan Tazen: One of the best to fight beside. Man dragged me out of a pit on some forsaken jungle world as I bled out from my own stupidity; I've yet to pay him back.
Apple 'Watts' Briggs: My first SL, and the best I've had to date. Confidence and competence, rolled into one.
Ashley Tingle: Mostly silent, but hilariously sarky when she does speak. Can come off as a little... simple, sometimes, but put her on an MG and you're good.
William Wallick: One hell of a beard.

Phillip 'Avalanche' Murray: Damn solid marine. Always a laugh, too. Just don't ask him to rap.
Ritona Sterling: A welcome sight on any drop. Almost as welcome as that beast of a rifle she carries around.
Conner Scott: Not as funny as he thinks, but I've seen worse.
Cassius 'Santa' Klaus: Competent SL, has his head on straight. Even if he is a grape.
