A small functioning community of ye' old 2001 AVP players, complete with functioning servers and unofficial patches. Its fun to kick about with a few friends.

It's been a few years since i installed it so i could be remembering wrongly, but you need to install AVP2 separately before you can update it via the unofficial patches.

would be cool to play with some dudes, but xeno darksight is bugged on windows 8 lmao
