Do you understand how the Battlefield Execution functions?
A Battlefield Execution is a last line of defense against an operation being compromised by a single terrorist or irredeemable crew member. It is to be used only in extreme cases where regular Execution protocol cannot be followed, and as Commander I must have a legitimate reason for doing it in the first place.
Do you understand you are not above Marine law, or allowed to enforce it yourself?
Of course. The CMP is to keep an eye on all crew members and his MPs are to enforce Marine Law. Their job is to enforce Marine law, not mine.
What do you think is the job of a Commander?
The Commander is to lead the operation, delegating tasks accordingly and leaving department leaders to their own unless intervention is called for. If an operation is going poorly due to miscalculated orders on his part, Marine incompetence, or antagonists brilliance, he is to shore up morale in any way possible which sometimes calls for being deployed himself. On another sphere of influence, OOC, they are always to be IC and act accordingly; a reminder that part of the game is roleplay.
If a member of your staff is disobeying orders, how would you handle it?
Determine the reason for their disobedience first. If they are simply disobeying for the sake of disobeying, then I would charge them with insub and let the MPs handle it. If they believed that their orders had benefitted the operation more, and more importantly convinced me this was true, I would accept their decision and change my plans accordingly.
Why should you be whitelisted?
I believe I can provide the RP the position demands, and that I'm qualified for the position. While I may not be active on this forum I have been active on CM for a small while now, and I'm sure my recognition will spread further as I like playing Command roles. I do my best to provide an enjoyable experience for CM, no matter who I play or what role.
