The previous round lasted about 3.5 - 4 hours - due to people just holding trials for their COs etc, so about 15 or so minutes into the new round and I had to leave to make dinner for my family. I blame my wife for not being able to cook steak without turning it into jerky. I completely blanked on doing an adminhelp - and just told the CO that I was going off duty. In future I will tell my wife to stick it if I am in a crucial role (although, to be fair, they pretty much remotely controlled Alamo even while I was piloting it.)

Whilst I must say, I recall the XO saying they were not informed at all about you going off-duty but the correct proceedure is to go to Cryo before going off the game. Other than that, its up the admins.

I was the MT that was helping out this PO in that round, and I didn't hear anything, any warning or notification from you that you're going SSD. I was the one that had to tell the XO to start launching the DS remotely until another PO showed up.

Really dude, IRL stuff is IRL stuff. Just tell people that first. We all understand

Yeah sorry, but I did say over the :v channel that I was 'Going off shift, God speed'. But yeah, didn't know the protocol for having to deal with IRL stuff. Apologies!

Yeah RL comes first in all situations.

If you can cryo, brilliant just send a quick ahelp "need to go, cryoing" and your set

In an emergency and you can't get to cryo just drop an ahelp "can't get to cryo and need to go now!" and an administrator or mod can get you cryod to clear the spot

As it's your first note and first offence I fully support lifting this.

Given it's just an SSD jobban and your only note, I don't see there being much trouble lifting this.

Read up on the protocols for going SSD in the rules. Always go to cryo or ahelp if you can't. Just make sure to do that in the future. Resolved - PO job-ban lifted.
