Its almost been a year ago since this has happened and I totally forgot all about it, since then I have learned a lot from playing on other servers and on this cm server and recently I have been, instead of suiciding, telling admins I am leaving such has when I was a po and went to cyro, and or informing them I am leaving such as when I was a medic and a admin said its okay to leave and a mp or someone else would take me to cryo. I also informed other in game when I was leaving and or going to cyro. I would like to have mp and chiefmp job ban removed as probably in the future, I might be interested in playing them

I thought, from playing other servers, that going into the disposal unit when it was turned off would not work - send you through the shoots - but I was wrong, and I also thought it would not harm me and or the other survivor and as I died I was obviously proven wrong. It might be due to code the server uses, I am more use to paradise code. (Edited as of 4:03pm on 23 of the 4th) The other survivor I was with I told him the idea of hiding in the disposal unit which he thought might work also.

I was the other survivor the round of the last note and I wanted to offer a perspective. His plan was to "hide inside disposals", and he seemed to legitimately believe that due to no power disposals wouldn't work. I had to AFK briefly (a few seconds, warned via LOOC) but my original plan was to cut the pipes or something and see if disposals wouldn't work then, having committed the mistake of thinking hiding in the bin would be a good idea on its own once before.

Since I was AFK, I think he wanted to grab a headstart and simply stuffed me and himself down disposals. I think he was, or seemed to be, legitimately unaware of it to be possibly fatal. I ahelped it because I found a bit unfair I had been written off the round by someone else's mistake when hopping off for a few seconds and got adminhealed, but I don't think he held any malice then.

Ya, we don't run slip-n-slide disposal code here. Have you read Marine Law lately?

I was the one who handled this case. And I wanted to clear up a few things. The only reason they got the ban was because they logged out.
I would have loved a chance to talk to you about it and if anything like this happens again press f1 and ahelp: I dun goofed but did not mean to get myself and the other survivor killed.
Even that would have prevented the note.

Sheodir was the one who made the initial ahelp but did not at any point tell me they had the plan to hide in disposals.

I explained that disposals always disposals you.
I can see from the conversation beforehand that you guys agreed to hide in disposals.
You did place him into the unit while he was getting water.

No no, its more of me to blame, I didnt know the code very well and assumed it will be okay, and out of pure guilt just walk away from my computer not saying anything

We'll lift this due to how long ago it was and trust you won't do it anymore. Make sure you read up on Marine Law [wiki/Marine_Law] for the role, as you're expected to know the protocols as an MP. You don't need to memorize it, but you should be able to check it at the very least while playing a policing role. Resolved - MP/CMP job-ban lifted.
