I've played a lot of first person shooters over the years and frankly the community for Rainbow Six Siege is probably one of the best I've come across. In games like CS:GO or PUBG it's just cancerous every single match with teammates yelling at each other constantly, and while that does happen in Siege from my experience it's significantly less.

Also the game is pretty fun.

It's slightly better than most game communities, but the RSS community is still hit or miss. Ranked has significantly less chances of getting toxic / "it's a game so I don't care" team mates, which I love about the game. Casual though, there's a much higher chance of someone TK'ing you because you "took their main" or you get teams vote kicking people because "clutch or kick".

I do wish that they made casual into a non - ranked ranked, as in casual uses ranked time limits and you can choose your spawn.

I like it but recent Ops (Lion and Finka) feel like little thought was given to balancing and the community has this big ass divide between "people who want to just have fun" and "people who learn every map to a degree of knowing all the one-way corners someone can't shoot back at you and you'll defend the same spots over and over and over"

The game is fun, I got a free copy when I put my computer together. You can do some neat stuff and sometimes you get teammates that like to talk about what's happening which doesn't happen in some other games. If you really want to try it but don't want to fork over $60 there's a $15 version that limits how many operators you can get.

Do not get the $15 version. It's terrible. You're better off getting full $60 version or waiting for a sale for the full version.

But in all seriousness, I haven't really encountered this, and I've been playing since launch.
