I understand. I have seen it happen, and I have been suspended for breaking synth guidelines, and learned from my mistakes.
Do you understand how the Battlefield Execution functions?
Only to be used in times where arrest is not possible, and the target is a direct threat to the mission. It should not be abused, nor used liberally.
Do you understand you are not above Marine law, or allowed to enforce it yourself?
Yes, nor are they to take part in executions; I have seen that they do not even have the security skill to use security equipment, so they really shouldn't be doing it anyways.
What do you think is the job of a Commander?
To lead the marines, to keep morale high, to ensure that the mission is a success, and finding out what went wrong and how to improve, if it is a failure, as well as to ensure that the round is fun for everyone. Commanding is important, and is the top priority, but if no one's having fun, something's wrong.
Ensuring that all departments are running correctly is also a top priority; if requesitions, medbay, or engineering are not working as they should, then the marines below are left without supplies, medical care, or command support, respectively.
If a member of your staff is disobeying orders, how would you handle it?
Give them a warning, and if it is something bad, tell their SO/the MPs to keep an eye on them; should this behavior continue, an arrest is to be set, if possible.
With shipside, this will work, normally. With groundside, a little more care is needed, as an arrest made of a favorite member of a squad can destroy squad cohesion, and stop an advance. Care is thus needed while reacting to these things - although the actual arrest should be made by the proper MP personnel.
Why should you be whitelisted?
I try to make the round as fun for as many people as possible usually, although I'd also like to show that I can be a more serious roleplayer. As well, I'd like to see more commanders who can make a round amusing without just giving orders to force people to die needlessly.
