The crew and marines of the Almayer are all pretty much insane in one way or another (yet still within the rules, at least), so I suppose it isn't above them to let teenagers into the force.

I always liked to think of OUR marines like that of B-Company of the Bad Company games: Where all the misfits get assigned to so the military has some cannon fodder for suicide missions and not risk their REAL troops in dangerous situations.
