More than once, and far more often for it to be random, I have either:

*Been down, getting dragged off and someone with an underslug flamethrower lights my world up.
*Seen someone get targeted after rushing over the cades and an entire firing line getting them.
*Hear gunfire, break free from a nest only to be hit by an OB.

I know we have a song directly from Starship Troopers as one of the lobby songs but I didn't think tactics would evolve to this level.

Every time I light up a friendly as they're dragged away I always think to myself, "I'd expect him to do the same for me."

Once I did call OB on main nests with 10 captured marines (I was captured too) and saved them from larvas, after this we won.

Pyro spec is king of FF by flamethower. Just use blue flames and be behind your comrades, you know. Blue flame will kill marines easly.

Whenever I roll sniper spec and see some guy get tackle dragged in the distance its always the hard choice between trying to shoot down the alien dragging him or simply incinerating the marine since the xeno can tank some shots, Most of the time however I end up thinking about which choice to take until I end up taking neither.

I've put plenty of good men out their misery.

I remember dropping an OB on an abandoned full of critically wounded at tfort FOB as the aliens began to roll over them.

Entire CIC called me a murderer. Commander low key told me I made the right choice.

The kicker is, I could tell aliens were going to take it 5 mins prior and was pleading for marines to extract the wounded.

I'm sorry lads, but if you step out of a perfectly decent firing line to grab a random gun/wounded marine and you get jumped on, I'm just gonna let you die to the benos and shoot the lizards who try to drag you back instead. And if you somehow get up earlier than I expected, you're eating lead.

Yeah. If someone is right next to the queen after she screeches, there's a very good chance they're getting at least one slug in the back if they get up before she leaves. Sorry mate, but putting damage on her is more important then anything else at the moment.

Don't forget the questionable tactics of running in front of the guy with a sniper rifle or shotgun. Lot of injury is self inflicted as much as anything else.

If you can´t save them shoot em. The ayys will drop the body which can them be revived.

It is better to give a man a quick death, then to let them suffer a long drawn out one.

Flamer is the best choice of weapon outside of CAS or OBing them.
Grenades also work but are far less reliable.

Marines can get defib'ed. Xenos can't. It's usually worth it to FF if you manage to kill the beno. Now, if you don't...

In Helldivers there is a global count of the number of comrades whom are killed by their allies to save them from the bug menace. Remember this, the next time you look upon your fellow marine laying helplessly on the ground.
