Reason for ban: Now I understand why you're upset. I get it. I did something bad. I hurt an innocent person. But now that I have the stage, I'm going to once more explain my rationality. I only hope that my sorrowful tale will move you to tears, and be enough to convince that I, Hrothgar Rammstein, am indeed a man dealt with an unjust fate.

We were cornered. The bugs were outside. There was no way to escape, but that's okay. I didn't want to. These were my orders; every man an woman was to stay and fight. No exceptions. I told them to eat shit. But I intended to do it with them. Do you see now, how valorous I am, how brave and righteous I was as the executive officer?

A certain Hans Meier comes up and rudely smacks the evacuation button. The xenos were about to pop in any moment, our time would end in under a minute. So I ensured that my final act as a cunning and wise XO was to pulverize this coward with a shotgun. His comrades knew the deal, they were staying to fight. But Hans was delusional. He wanted to escape. In a way, it was an act of mercy. He refused to fight like a man, so I made him to choke on the barrel of my shotgun instead. A just fate.

Now I understand now that it was wrong. But I'm a reformed man. Truly I tell you that a permanent job ban for any command role, especially because this is my first offense of such a nature, is tomfoolery. I'm the best of my class, see? I know how to be an officer better than anyone else. My tactical brilliance is unmatched. And most of all, I have a smile that can light up a room.

So can I have another chance? Can I go on to accomplish great things? Or are you going to toss me into the gutter? Probably the latter. But if my tale of woe doesn't move you to sympathy, you simply don't have a soul.

I do have to say, it doesn't seem like you have had enough time to let this jobban pass.
It's not like it was an SSD ban of any sorts and I was there for the incident. You shot the SO 5 times in the chest with slugs until he was completely dead.
Also, it really doesn't seem like you have learned what went wrong with regards to the jobban at all.
I am giving this a -1 completely for those two reasons.

Go some time without getting notes as well as write a proper appeal that really shows you understand what you did wrong and make sure your appeal is straight and to the point.
The actual appeal part is almost completely you writing yourself as the victim.

I will add that in the mChat following the posting of his appeal I did inform him of BE rules and he was still in the mindset that he was justified in his actions with killing the SO. When someone made comment that some people got away in the Normandy he said that he couldn't be everywhere at once (or something similar can't 100% remember what) but said he would've killed everyone on the Normandy as well.

Firm -1 from me. Player does not understand rules of escalation and RP standards.
