BACKGROUND:

Born to parents xxxxxxxx and xxxxxxxxxxxxxx, lived a relatively normal childhood. As he grew older, he took a keen interest in human anatomy and biology leading him to pursue a career in the medical field. Graduated from xxxxxxxxxxxxx High School with a 4.3 GPA on a 4.0 scale, high honors. Accepted to University of Chicago's Pritzker School of Medicine in the fall of 2180 and studied internal medicine, physical therapy, trauma surgery and neurosurgery. Obtained his medical degree in the fall of 2184 at the age of 22 and was board certified by the beginning of 2185. Graduated from University of Chicago's Pritzker School of Medicine on the 8th of May, 2186 at the age of 23 with as Summa Cum Laude, obtaining his doctorate within only 6 years with the help of accelerated course loads. On the 1st of September, 2186, was hired by the USCM to fulfill the role of Chief Medical Officer and Surgeon aboard the USS Almayer.

- Lydia Tournier - a fine marine. She's clearly French, with a bit of something something added to the mix. Speaks fluent English, but likes to throw in the occasional interjection, en Francais. Knowledgable, well rounded and has guts to bring her glory.

- Haley Altman - a fantastic medic. Sometimes too fantastic. She's always throwing herself into harm's way for her fellow marines, even if sometimes her fellow marines are the harm themselves. Always comes to medbay with a smile, one that I can only exchange an ample medical supply to her for.

- Elena Mei - Another Asian! Might sound a bit racial, but I believe us Asians need to stick together more, especially on this ship filled with a myriad of races and nationalities. A good, well rounded marine that always has a clear display of compassion for others.

- Heinz Mueller - borderline Neo Nazi, but knows when and where to draw the line. Refers to himself as a kommandant as opposed to a commander, probably because of his upbringing. Has a pretty well versed tactial mind, and makes rational decisions most of the time.

- Mikey Anders - this one is an interesting one. A naturally good guy, although sometimes his desire to do good gets in the way of things that need to be done. I still don't mind him being on the ship though, I can always rely on him to get to the bottom of a crime or something like that. He's also pretty helpful towards my medbay, sending us an MP to patrol and provide protection.

- Leon Daemon - a ballsy marine. Give him a gun, give him orders and he'll give you results. Guy can also acknowledge skills when he seems them, so he often compliments me on my work hah. I have a feeling this guy will go pretty high up in the ranks.

- Bex Jackson - a well versed and definitely capable medic. I can rely on him to whip his squad, as well as other medics, into shape and make things nice and easy for us back in the medbay.

- Audrey Aulin - fantastic girl, best girl. A very promising newcomer who so far has yet to disappoint. Attentive when I explain things and shares the same fondness of dorky medbot names! She's got a swanky head of red hair too.

- More or less every marine I've encountered that is a part of the Charlie Squad. It's weird and not weird at the same time, how they're almost a family. They do this breakfast club type schtick after waking up from hypersleep every operation, sometimes causing them to be late to briefing and then the commander chewing them out. Despite that, they're a pretty good group of marines who have their heads on straight.

- Elizabeth Nightingale - a good person. Although it seems she has become reliant on my providing a steady supply of Citalopram for her anxiety and depression, she has a pretty good head on her shoulders - despite her being part of the overly rambunctious Delta Squad...

INTERVIEWER NOTES:

Subject seems to have a stable head on his shoulders. A bit brash sometimes, but overall a rational thinker. He seems to favor a faster pace, showing little interest in menial things. Subject also appears to be suffering from obsessive compulsive disorder as he has often been seen organizing and reorganizing his belongings a number of times. During social observation, subject tends to be more friendly towards other knowledgeable individuals, often times engaging in conversation with them. However, when it comes to individuals who are a bit more ... lacking, subject tends to brush them off or show a bit of attitude towards them. While most likely an egomaniac, subject's intentions appear to be truthful and is genuinely interested in the well being of his peers. Will report anything unusual, should they appear.

OBSERVER NOTES:

Observational Report 1-A8: 8th of April, 2186

Dr. Solaris had an encounter with rowdy marines who were distrusting medical procedures, harassing the injured and vandalizing medbay equipment. Solaris showed signs of restraint during lack of Almayer MP intervention, despite multiple requests for assistance to multiple marines. Rowdy marines then escalated the situation further by threatening medbay staff with their standard issue M41A rifles. Solaris immediately intervened using non lethal means to subdue the aggressors. Although not handled in a manner that the USCM would prefer, Solaris’ actions immediately diffused the situation with zero casualties. Will continue to provide observational reports on Dr. Solaris as they occur.

Observational Report 1-M6: 6th of May, 2186

Dr. Solaris shows promise of being a valuable asset to the Almayer crew. The rate at which injured leave the medbay fully treated has increased dramatically since his on bringing.

Observational Report 1-M18: 18th of May, 2186

Drastic escalation by rowdy marines in the medbay against a new doctor. Marines held the new doctor at gunpoint with M237 pump action shotguns and standard issue M41A rifles demanding treatment. Operation was going poorly leading to an overwhelming number of injured in medbay seeking critical medical attention. Dr. Solaris subdued the aggressors with non lethal means and had Almayer MPs escort them to the brig. Upon their release due to a ship wide Code Red, the two marines seeked out Dr. Solaris and attempted to take his life in the middle of a surgery on another doctor. Dr. Solaris fought back using a medical circular saw and dispatched of one of his attackers. The other attacker fled amidst the chaos. Dr. Solaris suffered a near mortal wound during the altercation, however made a full recovery thanks to his medical staff. Upon questioning from USCM high command, Dr. Solaris defends his actions under the claims that he was merely acting to preserve the safety of his staff and any injured individuals. Due to the situation at the time, he felt he was justified to handle the situation by his own means - ending in critical injury of one of the attackers. USCM has yet to apply a disciplinary action.

Observer comment:

Thank God he handled it the way he did. We don’t need scummy, terrorizing marines among the ranks of the USCM. If the MPs can’t handle a situation like that, we should be glad this doctor had the balls to take it into his own hands.

Observational Report 29-J18

Dr. Solaris has undergone basic training it seems and has been drafted into the ranks of the USCM ground force as a field medic. Has been promoted to corporal, with a bright future ahead, let’s see where this takes him. I don’t know why he would give up the safety of the Almayer Medbay... Let’s hope nothing happens to our valuable staff member.
