Predator Code Of Honor?
Yes, as well as extended lore.
Character background (An ADEQUATE description and story of your predators background):
Childhood:
► Show Spoiler
Ohanko was a very cunning child, though didn't seem to get along with other predators and his siblings as well as 'normal' ones should. He liked to practice spar with other kids
Ideals:
► Show Spoiler
Ohanko had a firm belief that he held all the answers that he could legitimately answer, period. He believed that if someone's view was different from his, when they didn't explain their view-point effectively enough, and when he believed he had sufficient knowledge enough to 'know', he would consider their way to be 'wrong' or foolish.
When he wanted information or was willing to learn, he learned very quickly and with almost perfect precision.
He always considered another Yautja or a serpent his equal, as well as an un-predictable machine. He had mastered all the games against a computer-driven A.I or a program, but he found the most thrill out of challenging another entity that could learn from it's mistakes and not do the same thing every time.
Lastly, Ohanko believed that the best learning came from experience. He believed that the best challenges were the ones with something truly special or valuable on the line. That's why he enjoyed the idea of The Hunt so much.
Training:
► Show Spoiler
Ohanko was thrown against the metal floor of the sparring room, hard.
His elder looked at him again with dis-appointment.
He got back up and faced his elder again, ready for his next move.
The blow came almost out of no-where, with Ohanko being practically blindsided by the blow to his right. He swung a wild arc and missed his trainer, who was already behind him.
His trainer kicked his legs out from under him.
Defeated.
He got up again, ready to get beaten by his elder again, but his elder stopped.
"Forget your training for a moment, and just use your instincts to guide your strikes" His elder said.
Ohanko nodded, and his elder struck again.
This time, Ohanko noticed that he was considerably quicker and more agile against the elder. He deflected the attack from his elder and whacked his stick across his mandibles. Ohanko then charged and crashed into the elder, sending him to the ground. Ohanko immediately, as if without thought or hesitation, pounced on his elder.
He had won.
They both got up.
"You are ready for your first hunt" his elder said. Though he said it with a tone that Ohanko recognized as doubt and could blatantly tell he was lying.
"Why are you lying?" Ohanko blurted out un-controllably.
He immediately looked at the elder in horror, waiting for his punishment of doubting an elder and challenging him on his word.
The elder looked at Ohanko with a warning glance. "Careful what you say" He said. Then walked off.
The Hunt:
► Show Spoiler
He lurked in the trees of the jungle, silently looking through his visor at the serpents who were attacking the human compound.
There was lots of shouting, screaming, and yelling from the humans in armor. They seemed to be rallying to the make-shift fortifications and firing their weapons on the serpents, killing them rather quickly.
While all this was happening, he made a simple wooden shield with a spike in the center for combat.
Soon the battle died, and the humans seemed to repel the serpents.
He made a mark on his navigator to locate the human compound for later. He then followed the serpents back to their hive.
The hive was a pretty small one, only about 13 serpents and their queen. Though he knew they would soon grow ten-fold. He decided wisely not to lurk around for any stragglers or pairs, and went back to the human compound.
Back at the compound and in the trees, Ohanko looked and saw the human engineers re-building the fortifications.
As night fell, Ohanko made his move.
He went in through a spot in the fortifications where the electrical wire seemed to be off, and crossed the wire.
It was a military facility for the humans. With sleeping quarters and the whole lot of make-shift buildings in the center.
He made his way to one of the watchtowers on one of the 4 corners of the compound, and jumped up to the building.
The 2 humans in front of him were playing cards, when he played a laughing taunt from his vox.
The men immediately sprung into action, grabbing their rifles and looking out into the dark jungle with flood-lights.
Ohanko turned off his cloak. The humans didn't notice, and were busy chatting over their communications devices.
Ohanko sighed internally, and walked up behind one of the humans, and tapped him on the shoulder.
The man looked behind him and screamed as a 6-inch blade made it's way through his heart.
The other man elbow-ed Ohanko in the face, and trained his rifle on him.
Ohanko lept forward after getting shoved back, and pushed the rifle just 10 degrees to the right, and plunged his left wrist's 6-inch blade deep into his head as he fired a burst from his rifle off into the cool night air.
Ohanko surveyed his surroundings, and heard the fallen guards' radios go off with a request of some sort.
He had little time left.
He grabbed both of the bodies and tore off their helmets and armor to carry them more easily.
He dropped down into the compound and made his way to the part where he came in.
Alarms started to blare as search-lights lit up the compound and almost spotted Ohanko with the bodies immediately.
Ohanko started running off into the jungle, and made some switch-backs without detection.
He went to work on making trophies of the humans. As he was doing so, he thought he saw something flicker in the corner of his visor.
He turned on EM vision and saw a serpent.
The serpent was no more than 30 feet away as Ohanko finished the last human trophy.
He was ready for the serpent to pounce.
The serpent pounced and Ohanko sprang into action. Holding his improvised shield in front of him as the serpent crashed straight into the spike and into the bulk of the wooden shield.
The shield almost instantly melted under the acid, and the serpent reeled back and made another quick strike at Ohanko.
The serpent pounced Ohanko, knocking him to the ground and pinning him down.
The serpent immediately struck with it's tail with deadly precision towards Ohanko's face.
Ohanko took the quick-finishing move for what it was, and kicked upwards with his leg, sending the serpent over him and dripped burning acid onto his side.
They both got up quickly and circled one another in the dark forest, looking for a fault in one another's step.
The serpent started to weaken and tire, and made a desperate maneuver to kill Ohanko, but he was too fast for the weakened serpent.
Ohanko side-stepped the serpent almost effortlessly, then pounced and drove his 6-inch blade straight through the serpent's main body.
The serpent died. Ohanko made quick work of the serpent to make it a trophy, then hopped into his pod and went to the ship.
How do you intend to play your predator (as in, describe HOW you will act/play your predator)?
I'd be lying if I told you I'm not going to play like "Any ol' predator". However, I WOULDN'T be lying if I told you there were some ... kinks, or quirks to my predator.
I intend to make RP situations with other preds very ... weird to say the least. My character is INCREDIBLY blunt, and that also leads to dis-respect sometimes which is NOT OK, hence why he as a character is trying to restrain his blunt-ness and dis-respect to the best of his ability. He also tends to get VERY angry VERY fast as part of this quirk.
Why should we whitelist you?
I have played CM for a very long time, over a year in fact. I also realize that my reputation with some of you is ... not great to say the least.
You should whitelist me because I think I bring a predator to the table that is very ... un-orthodox in it's ways because of his social skill level with other predators. Not to say he'll just out-right dis-respect elders, NO NO no no no that won't happen. But fellow ranked?
That is where you'd get some ...
awkward conversations.
Have you been banned from CM in the last month for any reason (we will check, and lies may result in immediate denial)?
No, and I also have not received any warnings either. Though I do have an INCREDIBLY scary note-list, that was in a dark-age long past with my ... well ... most of you know my blow-up of 2017 November, so I won't continue.
Are you currently banned from any other servers and if so, why?
No, I am not currently banned from ANY other server.
Do you understand that any player - donor or otherwise - can have their whitelist status revoked should they break our rules or disobey the Predator Code of Honor?
I understand that my white-list status can be revoked at ANY time if I break the code of honor, or dis-obey server rules.
I also understand that if needs be, it can be revoked for some reason other than the stated or otherwise implied.
