I've personally played five rounds of survivor since the new update.
It's hard as fuck
The only way you might make it out is if you are on Prison with a shitload of guns or hide somewhere on the planet in a bodybag or coffin.
It's litterally a bumrush of 10 defenders Something an entire squad cant even fucking fight.
1. 90% Of the survivors spawn in as a role that doesnt know how to use weapons properly.
2. Fucking Defender memes they litterally find you and swarm you and deflect pretty much everything you throw at them.
3. warriors
I know survivors are supposed to be hard to play and they should be, but this is kind of silly.
What are your thoughts and opinions on the new castes and playing survivor with them, or how to improve survivors?

but yeah, the defender having tailsweep/deflect as well as vent crawling kinda fucks survivors over.
Just get to a secluded as fuck spot or stay in a locker/bodybag because there's no way in hell you're making it out if xenos find you early on.

not much that can be done for now. you're gonna get kek'd for a bit unfortunately but it only makes surviving after being engaged with the xenos that much more rewarding.

Did a round as survivor on prison with Andrew Cooper and some others. Wiped out 4 Defenders and a sentinel and I think one other with tact-shotties.
Really that was probably because the newbies rushed us and the it was like the first day of the new castes. Also super lucky. Marines didn't last a half hour after we got rescued
I imagine defenders would reck any survivors given their numbers, stuns and health against limited firepower. Maybe we could get more survivor spawns? Mostly I they'll end up as larva and or xeno players anyway.
Probably can wait until after the main rebalance though.

Yeah, survivors need a slight buff or make it so defenders and warriors can´t use vents.
