Your appeal, including evidence (screenshots, etc): I honestly can't say why I would be banned by the superban. I don't have any alternate accounts, I don't use any VPNs and I'm the only person that uses and owns this computer.

I wonder if it's tied to me not being able to connect to any servers at all? Maybe my router is acting up? I did get sent this https://www.ic3.gov/media/2018/180525.aspx and I almost wonder if that's related.

Can't really make an appeal if you have no idea why you'd be banned by the super ban.

The superban was a mistake. If you attempt to rejoin you will see the actual reason is some complaints about recent toxicity and excessive memeing as a Xeno Queen.

Second, you've had a fairly toxic and hostile attitude for awhile and frankly, we are a bit tired of it. There was a complaint brought to me about the excessive Memeing as a queen a bit ago and I figured I'd leave it and see if anything else happened. There were a few more complaints over the last few days that reached me so I figured it's probably time. You've always had a bit of a salty/toxic attitude when talking with staff or in the Discord. It sort of reached a breaking point recently and this is the result.

As for how it ended up in the automatic ban, I was editing the bans.txt file and pasted your IP into the superban area instead of into your ban by mistake.

For reference, I wouldn't call being critical of your actions as predator on the subreddit toxic or hostile, or poking fun at the warning button.

For the notes, first one's literally from the Sulaco days. Wasn't even aware someone noted it as I never think I got bwoinked for it.

For the second note, after FOB on Big Red failed, another marine and I booked it south. I got hit by an elite spitter, and the marine in front of me shot towards them hitting me as I got up. I then out of range unloaded my buckshot towards him knowing it wouldn't hit him, and he shot me to death. TakeTheShot handled that one and warned me.

Third note is actually a fun one! See, I came into discord one night after asking a question in Ahelps and having it either warned or just "no response needed." I would never use that slur to refer to folks and more just talked about how staff can sometime seem a little distant and in their own club of sorts.

Once I was made aware of that note I asked someone who was there and they said I was perfectly fine that night, wasn't going on a tangent and talking about staff in that way. Even the moderator I asked about my notes said it was fishy.

Sort of similar to you know, a meme I posted on the subreddit?

Fourth note was me making fun of Bancrose's character after queen asked if we had gotten the CO.

Fifth note was me being high and making a few comments about our castes and new muscly sprites. I had to go queen as the only drone on LV and decided to have a little fun with it while it was lowpop.

And sixth was the day Warriors were added. After a pred blew up without any arms I Ahelped to kind of bring it up. This was the whole conversation. Note, I stopped messaging back after Kerek told me they would kick me, and they messaged me again after a few minutes. https://imgur.com/a/I1IRYSI I was wrong in the fact that I thought Kerek was the predator in question, which changed once they said they weren't.

Honestly, this seems a little reaching. Is it the questioning you on reddit?

It's more of 3 notes in about the time of a month, and the general toxic "asshole" attitude you've always sort of had (especially in the discord). I've sort of let it sit for awhile, after the recent incidents there have been complaints to the point I felt it necessary to take action.

Reddit really doesn't have anything to do with this situation, at least from my part. I can't say if it caused people to complain more or not. If it was related to reddit I would have done it sooner and been pretty straightforward about it. I've never shyed away from banning people for any reason before, and I wouldn't start now.

So two notes in recent history that more should apply towards a xeno or queen ban than a server gline? Then a third which I would say shouldn't have been a note considering Kerek responded kind of curtly and I responded in kind?

Right, so the first rule of the server is "Don't be a dick" and if you're pushing this line over and over, you're very eligible to take the punishment for it. On top of that, playing our server is not a right endowed upon you. If you're causing problems, on our server or not, you can still be held to judgment for that.

If you enforced Rule 1 half the server would be banned.

It's just funny that none of these player reports are in the official report area, and that other than their mention they don't seem to exist. No logs have been brought up. On a server famous for shady staff actions.

All this coincidentally after I make a shitpost on reddit.

Oh and I get playing on the server isn't a right. Doesn't mean I'm not gonna call you out on a sketchy situation.

The entire reason you got the ban is your attitude.
And what do you hope to accomplish by this ban appeal?

It does not matter at all if half the server is a dick.
Pointing to someone else saying but he also does it won't help you.
Trying to point out our shady shit is not taking responsibility for your actions.
This appeal is about you.
And if this is how you want to handle your appeal that is your mistake.
Because if I am honest your attitude in here is quite hostile and that is not helping your appeal.

I made this appeal after mistakingly believing I had been false positived by the sticky ban.

From there it's been more me and Apop arguing as usual on here and Reddit.

And it's more that I haven't seen anything from these player reports.

Are they actually reports or just someone in the locker room banter club saying they don't like me.

And that's the whole thing, this ban doesn't seem like it follows any ban sop from what I've seen in the past.

Like, no instances or logs of any of these notes.

Like if you want to just QC ban call it that. Don't cite dodgy notes and "player reports."

Based on your attitude, i think you need some time away from the game. You have been actively disrespectful and gone out of your way to stir up shit. Your ability to play here isnt a right- and i think the accusation you make above is pretty apparent truth of that too. Your first reaction is to claim you are being framed. Personally, I think id take some time away and apply when you cool off.

It isnt the arguing, or the disagreement that is the issue here, its that on more than a few occaisions, you stepped beyond disagreement and well into acting dickish.

I'm going to be blunt here- I personally do not like you very much. You seem to enjoy stirring the pot and have a really arrogant, "always right' attitude.

However, I don't think that alone warrants a perma, and neither do your notes. I'd be willing to let you back on the server, as ideally this will make you realize you're on thin ice- no more toxicity, or that's it.
