B isn't that bad. Usually it scares off the warrior and sometimes marines can get you back and defib you. Still a long trip to medbay but at least you remain in the round.

I can understand grabbing you out of Prae's/Boiler's spray, but Warrior grab ? How can new player know that you are supposed to grab your teammate ? Heck, I play a lot and even I don't know until recently.

Also, if the Warrior player is actually good and not like one of the baldies just abusing grab for abusing sake, they can position themselves and their grabbed victim so that if you come close to try to grab your mate, they can grab and fling your ass away. It only takes 1 second for them to : grab your ass -> fling you away -> re-grab your mate since they may have been slashed a few times already and are not in the best of shape to immediately run.

warrior grab makes them slow as hell, if your team mate gets slashed a few times it's totally on you unless they were a fair distance away

The only problem with that is that if you aren't quick enough, the person grabbed will already be too deep in enemy territory to save without risk to yourself.

In most scenarios where a marine is grabbed near their allies, they aren't deep in enemy territory. You can easily reach the person within the span of 1-2 seconds and simply ctrl click him to break the grab. It's not super difficult, and the moment the warrior lets go to try and meme you, the person you were trying to save is no longer stunned and can help you out.

Pretty sure lurker/runner pounce is directional even if they click on the sprite. Meaning you can dodge them. The same is not true for warriors, who'll be homing straight to you no matter what kind of crazy key-smashing work you do.

Yeah lunge is stupid and should be removed. The grab on its own is super powerful and lunge has zero counterplay at all, unlike every other xeno combat ability which can be dodged.

I havnt been able to save a marine by counter grabbing them off a warrior yet, but i plan to.The ways i have saved marines from warriors so far though, which is providing its not a 1x1 hallway or path.Run right up along side the warrior whilst its in grab, with your character set on harm intent and pointblank try to shove as many rounds into the warrior that you can.Warrior usually knows hes not being allowed to just "steal" a marine and stops its grab and runs off before you possibly put them in xenoe critical and kill them.

Fucking shoot them, just not through your ally, but from the warriors side or rear.

Well there is a fourth option.
Since Warriors aren't explosive-resistant, you always grenade the warrior grabbing the Marines.

Yeah, it isnt' the best soluction, but if can save a life, allthough the marine will be wounded, he/she/it will survive. While the warrior will be stuned and scared, and usually run.

Also when lunging, warriors have really slow speed when dragging shit, so grenade strat is even more optimal here.

Generally speaking, running away like a giant pansy while your fellow Marines are being dragged/sprayed with acid is the most irritating thing which could happen.

I expect you to just grow some testicles/ovaries, and -Try-. I'm not asking you to charge twelve xenos. Just.. Do SOMETHING.

This is where shotties shine: if the marine has been grabbed just now run into the slowed warrior and pointblank it. The marine will be freed and you two can give it a beating.

If you take too long, however, you risk the warrior grabbing you and your fellow marine being too wounded/disarmed to return the favor.

Well. I broke free and tried to stab a warrior on three separate occasions, today. Needless to say, the grabbing made that an impossibility of the highest order.
