SUMMARY PROFILE: Meztli Tlachi originates from a family distributed sporadically across Mexico; her racial identity is Nahua, and is known to engage in her family tradition of crafting replicas of ancient Aztec weapons. Her favorite weapon is the macuahuitl, a club covered in obsidian blades. She keeps a replica she crafted personally on the wall of her room, the paw of a bear etched into its side in its design. Approximately 8 years ago from present day, Meztli Tlachi suffered deep claw marks across the chest while participating in her family's festival, in which one of its activities was to dance and weave with a black bear. She fully recovered from the incident and later described it as, "Kinda regrettin' it now, yeah."
Unlike her sister, who grew up in Cuetzalan, a town small enough to allow her to hone her craft, Meztli was brought up in Mexico City, where her family members were few and far in between. She often took to the streets to beg for change and joined the odd gang every now and again, though she would stay with her mother every time she would come to visit. She finally consolidated her living at the age of 21, where she enlisted with the United States Colonial Marine Corps. She would serve diligently (but with a gentle touch) as a member of the Military Police up until she was promoted to Staff Sergeant, at which point she was granted a warrant shortly after and promoted to Warrant Officer 1. She now serves as one of the cryo-transitional Chiefs of Military Police aboard the U.S.S Almayer, and continues to further the training of experienced enlistees.
