40 Xenos will pubstomp marines no matter.

40 Xenos is easily achieveable 40 minutes into a 180~ player round.

How this works is the following, you only need around 10~ xenos to keep a FOB busy and occupied, the other 20~ xenos that are combat castes can either attack from the FOB's flank or just ambush the supply lines.

You could say that command could have each squad build their own FOB and push through different areas, but Xenos can easily organize themself to do a push to kill a lone squad of 30 marines with 30 xenos. Marines could call for backup, but first you'd need the SL to tell the SO that he needs backup, the SO to tell the aCO that the squad needs backup, the aCO to consider his options(takes time man) and then the aCO to tell a squad to move for backup(assuming he announces it instead of having to go through another chain of SO to SL) and then you need the SL of the backup squad to make sure he has enough marines on him to move for backup. Point is, logistics are a pain for marines, especially in 180~ player rounds. Meanwhile, on xenos the queen could simply talk through hive or make a single announcement to have all 30 ish combat Castes to move and destroy a squad that was building their own FOB instead of squeezing 50 marines into a FOB that can be kept busy by 10~ xenos.

Not much I can say except that I've never seen a marine major during highpop after the new xeno updated dropped.

There have been some marine majors during the latest patch, it's about as hard as usual.

The only reason you haven't seen marine wins recently is because you haven't been online when they happen, simple as that.

huh, alright.

But yeah, the main reason is the whole increased xeno starting numbers as well as all xenos they get from latejoin burrowed larvae and monkeys.

The only marine majors that I've seen after playing a fair bit the last two weeks, at highpop and at deadpop, is about four marine wins that I can recall that weren't due to a gamebreaking bug or cheese. Two on the Almayer when the xenos came up with few numbers, and two 5 hour long deadhour slogs on the ground where the vast majority of the marines were dead by the end of the round and had been for four hours.
