Name of the character you want whitelisted (The name your predator will use. This must match your in-game predator name): Samaju Ua (Fear Feaster)
Are you familiar with the Predator Code Of Honor? Yes! I’ve read over it many times and observed it in-game, and I think I have a good understanding of how it works.
Character background (An ADEQUATE description and story of your predators background): ► Show Spoiler
The chill of the frost-laden planet made her seize in place, her hand clenching in impatience as she crouched by the snowy hilltops, her camouflage shimmering faintly across the white backdrop of the incandescent frost; she had been waiting, waiting for her kill for days, the wearing monotony making her flare in anger. Since she was but a child, her tenacity for the hunt was undermined only by her selfish sense of privilege; the kill was hers to take, and she was owed it. “How delicious,” she thought cruelly, as the thick trudge of snowboots made their song known through the flats, leaving their beautiful mark in the downfall that layered the Hedros’ soil persistently.
Steadfastly, she approached, her camouflage blending perfectly into the snow-laden backdrop, leaving no trace of her existence, save for the faint, errant twinkle of energy, like the drop of snowflake upon the planet floor. Her light-armored boots left shallow marks on the snow floor -- but she was not the one being hunted. “A group of two,” she observed, their clothes and even armor ragged and worn from the stain of cold, their weapons fashioned from pipes and tape and other components of the weak. From this, she knew they were stranded -- for why would anyone bear this tundra without reason? -- and from this, she knew that they were alone. “How uncivilized it would be to finish them all at once!” she thought, her fingers clicking and grinding against her gauntlets readily for the hunt ahead. It was a matter of waiting for one to rid itself of biowaste, isolating itself from the others -- not too close and not too far apart, lest it become lost in this barren, fog-filled place. As it moved behind a black, snow-covered tree, its branches dead and try despite the plentiful precipitation, U’a grinned in malice, crushing a ball of snow from the planet floor in her hands.
The sudden crunch prompted her prey to turn its head alertly, backing away, not nearer, to return to its group -- as she expected. She walked silently behind her prey, keeping her footprints in perfect line with its own. She knew the sound of snowfall, the crunch of footsteps beneath her, the stir of fog, and so she masked her noise perfectly, her first prey none the wiser to her ruthless plan. As it called to another of its group in its native tongue, it hastened its movement to approach, them, gesturing and moving its unsightly lips and body. “Disgusting,” she thought to herself, not aloud as she often did in her own company so cautiously as when the thrill of the hunt was not in session. Her ego, though hefty, had rarely gotten her into trouble in the past, save among the wiser of her fellow Yautja, who cautioned her to be conscientious during the glory of the hunt. She heeded no voice but her own -- and make her own voice known she often did.
“T̨͞͝U͏̵̡͠Ŕ̡N̕ ̡́́A̡̛͘R̛͟҉Ó̕͠U̵̕͜N҉̶̢͡͠D̵̴̸̸̛,” she crackled with sinful glee, her prey once again alerted with purpose as it craned its neck in fright.
SHRK!
Her blade, held back at the ready, was thrust through the skull of her prey’s head; all it once, it slumped to the ground, leaving a morbid shape imprinted in the deep snow as crimson rivulets of blood poured over it. The fellow prey behind it shrieked in horror, eliciting another bemused sneer from its hunter behind her mask. As her next catch fleed into the distant fog, she could only laugh in fulfilled amusement as she crouched to the carcass of her first, freeing the gentle, tan flesh from the viscera inside, cutting with precision and draping the limp hide over her left shoulder. Excitedly, and without wait, she sprinted off in the direction of her next prey, the glow of her armor cutting through the fog as she shimmered into nonexistence once again. Her footsteps plowed powerfully through the snowfall below her -- but she cared not; she wanted it to know she was coming. Her teeth rattled with each step as she couldn’t help but grin at the thought of her next catch -- a thought cut short as a black flash in the fog tackled her to the floor, letting loose a terrible roar.
“Serpent,” she spat in disgust, the blur of the beast coming into view as it hovered above her, its maw dripping with hunger as it released another roar in U’a’s face. The hunter could only release a scream of her own in return, pulling her arm free from the snow to aim her caster on low setting to the creature’s visage. “Don’t waste my time,” she spat in Yautja tongue, the caster blowing the beast backward, releasing a pained hiss as it scrambled to all fours, disappearing into the mist and leaving a trail of bubbling acid that melted the snow and eroded the soil beneath. U’a cursed to herself and stood upright, the force of the caster having blown her mask a few feet away on the ground. Her face was laid bare for the rotten oaks about her to watch, the mystery of her visage never to part with the forest: Her flesh was an anemic yellow, her eyes sunken back in black sockets, her mandible long and visceral. She quickly placed her mask back against her head, sealing it from the world again. She stared off into the distance, marked by the trail of green that faded into the fog, and sighed.
“Which do I choose first?” she questioned to herself, her hunt having split into 2 directions. “Serpent or Ooman…” She smiled again, wristblades retracting from their sheaths, indiscriminate in their culling.
How do you intend to play your predator (as in, describe HOW you will act/play your predator)? Samaju Ua will exploit one of the Predator’s greatest tools: Stealth. She will utilize not just camouflage, but the destruction of lights and flares to disorient her prey and create a disturbing ambience for whichever player she is hunting. She’ll rarely go after multiple prey, instead choosing to cull those who have been isolated from their groups.
U’a is primarily concerned, first and foremost, with herself -- no one else. She is obsessed with preserving her trophies and her image, and will do everything in her power to avoid being captured or overpowered. She has no interest in “helping” one side over the other, only culling the most ferocious prey, whichever side they may be on.
U’a has nothing but disdain for the Serpents, them being her only competition in instilling fear in their prey before the kill. She finds them rather mindless and too abundant to hunt haphazardly, going after only the strongest Serpents that have proven themselves in the field of battle.
Why should we whitelist you? First and foremost: I love roleplay! I came from Baystation 12 so I’m more comfortable in a position that requires a lot of roleplay and creative thinking. I think Predators are a unique faction that I would do well in, have a lot of fun doing, and make fun for others.
One thing I'll acknowledge out of the gate is that my forum posts aren't exceptionally high; I know this is a large contributing factor to people receiving their whitelist, and I did wait to apply rather than trying out as soon as I was eligible so I could rack up more posts and game activity. I'm willing to work twice as hard to be active on both the forums and game for the duration my application is open and hope that my efforts have made me recognizable enough to deserve the whitelist.
Have you been banned from CM in the last month for any reason (we will check, and lies may result in immediate denial)? I have not.
Are you currently banned from any other servers and if so, why? Not as of right now.
Do you understand that any player - donor or otherwise - can have their whitelist status revoked should they break our rules or disobey the Predator Code of Honor? Absolutely. I’ve applied for many whitelists in the past and I’m always careful to tread lightly, as I know that whitelists are a privilege, not a right.
