This job ban was also accompanied by a short temporary ban (at least less than 24 hours), which has since ended.

Reason for ban (If you have a Permaban, it should be the EXACT MESSAGE YOU GET WHEN YOU LOGIN with the Error code that looks like this: X##XXX##. If you do not provide this EXACTLY you can't be unbanned): Griefing -- shooting a prisoner to death after being ordered to release her by a Moderator, then immediately logging.

Your appeal, including evidence (screenshots, etc): I apologize for not only not cooperating with Sxmething during the round in question, but deliberately going against them by shooting the prisoner. I was under a large amount of stress for reasons I posted about in Cryosleep, but that is no excuse for detracting for someone else's round. I should have complied with the staff, released the prisoner, then went to cryo and stopped playing until I felt better, but I made a rash decision instead. The Military Police roles are some of my favorites to play and I do a well enough job of playing them most of the time, but my lapse in judgement and reason yesterday made me lose my right to them. I know that CMP and MP are treated with higher scrutiny than other roles because of the sensitivity of their responsibilities, and that it is a privilege, not a right, to be allowed to play them. All I can do is apologize to Sxmething and the prisoner (first named Jade is all I can recall) whose round I affected and await your ruling.

I'm gonna throw in my own little schpeel.

It is too early to appeal this right now in my opinion Fear. Try to sort yourself out and play other roles without any issues for a while before appealing it.

Entirely my opinion, if a head decides to let you appeal so soon, all the better for you!

I understand, Lord. I just wanted to appeal early since, either way, I'm going to be waiting a while before I have a chance of playing them again, but I will absolutely continue to play other roles in the meantime and hopefully prove that I can be trusted again. I leave it to the Heads to make the next call from here.

This is a very serious issue. Killing a prisoner unlawfully as the Chief MP is bad enough, but more so than that the fact that not only blatantly disregarded the moderator's instructions but did the exact opposite of what you were told and then ragequit. It makes it look like you did it just to spite and disrespect the staff member. Compounded with your history of disregarding staff instructions over on Baystation as mentioned in the appeal you linked this needs to sit.

You asked me to vouch for you in Bay, so I expect better from you. I'm afraid nothing short of impeccable behaviour when it comes to interacting with staff will convince me to change my mind.

You never vouched for in the end when I DMed you (at least as far as I know), so I don't see its relevance.

All your other points are fair and I respect whatever decision is reached, but "ragequit" is disingenuous; I was going through a psychotic break down that didn't go away until the end of that day. That's not a normal occurrence for me and there's no chance of it happening again.

Happened too recently as already said, maybe in another month or so. Grief is grief at the end of the day, can’t take your word that it won’t happen again unless we see you continue to play up until you appeal again.

This job ban can remain for now, you ignored marine law and server rules as well as direct staff instruction. I'd want to see you actually remain reasonable as other roles until the MP job ban is lifted, what was done was fairly serious in every respect.
