A good round as a Researcher - grenades, drugs, UPP and predators!

I tend to use my Research rounds for experimenting and boy, was it a good round for experimenting!

First off, I managed to get my hands on some glass and metal early on, meaning I was able to see how the grenade manufacturing in this game works. After Professor Synth was done with her dual-lab chemistry, I got to work. The wiki on the grenades was a bit outdated, but luckily I managed to figure things out after a tip I got.

Later, Dr Bex wanted to do some... experiments of their own. I gladly joined in the fun and soon we were getting high on some chemicals you also can't find on the wiki. Well, I've got some future project to follow up on - finding more obscure chems and updating that wiki.

After that madness, it turned out there were UPP in this round! Crazy! Unfortunately, there weren't enough MPs around, so we had to keep the POW in a research cell. Then the Corporate Liaison came in, had a chat and decided to bring the UPP to the commander. That didn't end up too well.

While I was thinking this day couldn't get any crazier, we suddenly got a Predator corpse! This was great, not only from roleplay reasons, but also because a few weeks back I submitted a few bugs around Predators and their stuff, also while playing a researcher. So I quickly began testing everything once more to see what's going on and sure enough - all of my old bugs were fixed. Good work dev team!

After that, I started pursuing another random Predator thing - seeing if they have regular fingerprints. I gleefully came over to the Brig, but got promptly arrested! I was dragged in and saw the CL was there as well. Apparently I was being interrogated for collaborating with CL to free the POW and let CO or XO be assaulted. Whops! I luckily managed to downplay my involvement in the matter and got out of the brig right as the xenos were launching for the Almayer. I quickly ran into Research, grabbed as much Predator gear I could and promptly went straight for an escape pod. I managed to get away with another doctor and Profesor Synth. A noble prize or two certainly awaits this character for all the xeno discoveries they did... unless they die from unstable mutagen exposure, or from that predator bracelet detonating later...

Also, a Predator in a tank. Good round!

Was MP that round, i am quite sure that i gave you the scanner for the pred. Overall the round was indeed quite crazy with all the stuff that was happening.
