Tell me what is the best(and worst) things about colonial marines and why?
Becasue I am curious to see everyones opinion.

The best for me is that I get to shoot aliens,command troops and be a combat medic.

Multiple things good and bad for me so just gonna make a small list of them:

1. People not listening to commands and i mean serious commands not those stupid ones and even if the plan is gonna get us killed just listen to it as it shows respect

2. People being left for dead or just out right abandoned by their comrades or being pushed when trying to save people and then getting shouted at for not saving them.

3. People fucking up at the start in the lines

4. Being able to work with people and getting to know them

5. Having fun in game

6. My fuck ups when it comes to shooting teammates in the back by accident ;)

The good: I like slowly becoming better at SS13's horrendous combat mechanics as I've played on this server. Lexia is an extremely fun character to RP as, and there's a story with each round, but that's SS13 as a whole, really. I also really enjoy reading people's character descriptions (and it makes me very grumpy when there's nothing there, that's no fun!)

The Bad: The "ironic" bigotry is extremely grading after a while. But then again, Lexia has pretty much zero tolerance for that, and it's fun to express that as her. Oh also FOB duty. FOB duty sucks and is extremely unfun, and it amazes me that people's first thought during briefing is "WHEN DO I GET TO PLAY BASE-BUILDER AND SIT AROUND HOLDING MY BUTT FOR TWO HOURS!?!?!" Also the L6 SAWs are the most useless things in existence and they need to be replaced with a smartgun that would be worth a damn ASAP.

From what Apop has said the L6 is getting a major buff soon with a mag size of 70 rounds tripled firerate with a slightly less damge

Good:

When you have a team that doesn't go SSD.
Your squad leader shows actual concern with his squaddies well-being.
Rushing into a hive and fighting swarms of aliens, rescuing friends, and blasting the alien scum.
Switching your intent to harm just for a one on one duel with a warrior.

Bad:
When you log on and find SSD running rampant.
Marines turtle when the odds are in their advantage.
Teammates not reading the radio logs or failing to answer back.
The alien drone (148) Sings and dances "Hello my baby, hello my honey, hello my ragtime gal!~"

Bad thing, suicidal berserker marines pushing you forward to your doom, themselves eager to ignore all danger and go down a narrow corridor and SHOOT YOU IN THE FUCKING FACE and then walk over you corpse only to be captured and facehugged. The L6 was an old weapon from way back when CM was still using TG/Bay code. Go on the TG wiki and look up the syndicate LMG. Same model and everything. You would be amazed how ancient this server is.

Things I dislike
When marines refuse to use help intent while in the FOB, bonus points if they tell you to move instead of switching intents.
