You mean when you are a marine affected by it? Most of the time you are stunned anyway and if you are not (becouse of being deaf, or wearing proper earware) it is atleast doing something to you.

I wish it wouldn't shake the screen for aliens. Makes going in with the queen a little hard sometimes.

I like it, the shaking shows off the power of the screech and strikes fear into the hearts of marines.

From a marines point of view, if you're close enough to have screen shake, you're stunned anyways. Crusher/Queen charge screen shake are much more annoying because it disorientates you.

From an aliens point of view, not a shit can be given since it doesn't even affect you.

I think it's necessary gameplay-wise, which kinda sucks.

Heavy defences require something that can stun the marines long enough for the xenos to cause a breach, and that's either crushers, or the Queen's screech. I think if it was replaced, or hell, even removed, I think it'd be an interesting way to see how the xeno meta changes.

Yes, the xenos do have a meta, and it's revolved entirely around the ability of the queen to a. Command the hive, and b. Her ability to fight w/ screech.

Immershion asside, it's annoying as fuck.

You basicaly cannot do anything for the time it shakes due to your screen having a spasm.
