This thread is to introduce me as a player and more importantly as a friendly community member. I've honestly played this server for a while and I've tried to join in the community, but never really befriended but a few people (I've played longer than January of 2017, I just decided to make an account on the forums then). I'd love to get to know most of y'all considering you must be someone like me if you play ss13.

A bit about me:

• I enjoy roles that don't put me at the center of attention, but rather aid other players in their lowpoints. (also because I suck half the time)
• I know I don't really post anything, but that's because I'm more of a 'keep it to myself unless necessary' kind of guy.
• I come and go depending on work, but recently enlisted into the navy (so of course ill be gone for a bit).
• I honeslty hate the phrase 'Bald'...no.

I have no idea what else to put, but I'd like to get to know at least some of y'all and what you enjoy doing and stuff. Feel free to ask questions!

I know the feeling about a forum account made later into your playing! I so happened to make my own in response to Synthetics getting added to CM, and then neglected it ever since. I worried more about enjoying the game and making rounds enjoyable for other players mostly.

yeah, it just sounds gross like...bald.. but yeah. I've never played MP, I wouldn't think there is much to do in a round? or is there?

Sometimes. If you take the initiative you can manage to do most jobs before any of your fellows do. But mostly you sit around for 3/4ths of the round until something major comes up or the aliens finally crash in, dealing with the occasional miscreant along the way. Its an acquired taste.

Did not find an introduction thread but this will do.
Lifelong Aliens fan here and a big fan of all games including Colonial Marines.

-My other hobbies besides video games are model building, mostly aircraft and sometimes the occasional Gundam model
-I like to roleplay and strategist, so I mostly play the RP Support roles or Command. I'm shit at normal gunplay combat, so at the most I may play the Squad Marine or Smartgunner role
-My normal 9-5 is being a police officer, I work in a pretty big city of about 180,000 and am full time traffic cop. I mostly deal with speeders and other idiot drivers
-I'm old, and have been gaming since I was 5 years old. I am from the generation that had AOL and we had to pay $9.95 an hour after 50 hours back in the day. Also it took almost a day to download a 100 meg file on 56k Dialup. Before that we had to play videogames with head to head multiplayer by using a save file and emailing it back and forth
