Description of the incident: the CO told everyone to go planetside when the Alamo was taken, we all went down, but right as we landed the Alamo took off, so, we were heading back to the ship, two people, an SL, and the CO, tried taking the cockpit, I told them I am the pilot, and I can handle it, we were not in danger. then out of nowhere the CO loads me with about five bullets to the head.

How you would punish the accused: I think this is an abuse of power, this isn't their first time being reported. I would like them to be un-whitelisted, or more.

Hey there. Since the round is now over, I'll go in more detail on this BE.

Because it so happened in the worst possible moment, it was impossible for me to make an announcement to clarify the reasoning, however I did get reached by a moderator in-game (awan) and explained it to them.

The reason for your BE is insubordination and overpowering a commanding officer.

Your logs and story are insufficient in my opinion so I'll ask for official logs from the moderators in that moment.

In short, what happened was we that were attempting to retake Alamo via DS2 when it was called by the queen. At the same time queen launched the Alamo towards the almayer when we were mid-air.
I did not want to have my marines go outside, so I was attempting to lock doors so that I could brief them via the intercomm about what we would be doing next. At the same time you take over the cockpit and were pushing me away and at one point even disarmed me (which should be registered in the logs), sending the dropship up before due time.

As the commanding officer I have the authority to take over if I deem it so, and you should be making way. Instead we launched prematurely for something we could've had more organization for.

I understand you're upset about it, and I am upset I had to perform it too. It's a petty misunderstanding in the worst moment. I could've done better, perhaps communicate better true, but at that point the clock was ticking and it was a heated moment as it were. I saw no other solution that could react to the situation as time was running short and it was the worst possible moment to challenge a commanding officer's authority just because you're the pilot and can fly a dropship.

Hello, I just saw this BE and thought that I would explain to everyone what happened from my perspective. I was Lt. Kai "Ducky" Duckworth.

As Arbs said we were on DS2 colonyside. I kept shouting orders for people to stay on the ship because we would have to go back immediately. I walked up to the cockpit and saw Xavier Fields disarming Alan Jones. After some shoving and the ship launching Jones executed Xavier Fields. To me it seemed like a reasonable action, I probably wouldn't start shoving the Commander around at anytime- especially during a high intensity moment like hearing that the other DS just got hijacked.

Honestly, I didn't even realize the commander was trying to get in, I was too blind to even notice that it was the commander, the person I was fighting for controls over, was the SL, who punched me, and was trying to do who knows what, and out of habit, I launched the dropship (I tend to do the flight op, then launch, rather quickly, so that's what happened). Then I got BE'd, unexpectedly, so I was rather pissed off, because that part of the game is the climax, which I always like to take part in. I guess everything was just a big mess, everyone panicked.

From my POV Alan did nothing wrong and all he said is true.
Disarming the CO and pushing him is a one way how to get BEd

Character Witness, Wasn't exactly there but I have been witness to a few of Alan's BE's but I know that they were all legit. I also know he wouldn't do it for "no reason". If someone was pushing me in a mission critical moment and than giving me orders. I wouldn't think twice about BEing him either.

This is perfectly reasonable. You directly disobeyed the CO's orders in a critical time and told him to fuck off. PO aren't above the CO when it comes to flying the ship so if you want to ignore the CO and all that, you're free to do so at this risk.
