Description of the incident:
I was running away from being shot by a standard marine, when a spec (marked as 3) noticed me and downed me, i ran futher, he downs me again and i go into crit. For some time, i just lay there in crit (marked 1), waiting to heal out cause i'm on weeds and no marine is opening fire at me any more, so i presumed i'm in the clear. After some half a minute, maybe more, i wasn't paying that much attention, the predator in stealth came by, dragge me to a group of marines (marked as 2) to have a smartgunner gun me down. After i had died, he uncloacks, starts butchering me in front of everyone and gives my skin to the spec as a trophy. The marines see him as a friendly force now and let him go on his merry, xeno murdering way.

How you would punish the accused: I would warn him not to inject himself into situations where he's clearly unnessecary, as i in a predators eyes, i was killed "dishonorably" and the spec wouldn't at any point deserve me as a trophy.

I will now admit this was my fuck up since with the acid splash under your sprite I thought you were dead.

The spec likely had seen you but may have made the same mistake I did in thinking you were dead.

Dead xenos and crit xenos have fairly different sprites, but okay, still, you can still examinate.

It doesn't even make sense if the spec had killed me. He didn't do it alone. I wasn't an honorable kill. You shouldn't care about the sitatuion. He just shot me when i was near death and put me in crit, where's the honorable kill in that?

You at that point, were just a super geared marine.

I think i described the scenario as well as i could, with everything that happened.

So from reading this and seeing both sides it's pretty clear this was an accidental situation otherwise the predator may have just butchered you up when they saw you. Spooky has already admitted his own fault for mistaking you for dead which in the heat of the moment can happen.

This all seems to come down to the fact you got killed whilst I understand your frustration for being dragged away then killed, I can honestly see this as a mistake on spookies part which he's apologized for. I must also stress that we do get trigger happy marines that examine every xeno they encounter, it's just bad luck you got caught out in this.

Going to mark this for the relevant superior but if you feel the need to pursue this then by all means you can reply.

A mistake from Spooky he owned up to and not ill intent. While he did lead to your death on accident, I'm not going to hold it against him or anyone else in a first offense case like this. As for butchering, the honor code only states you can't butcher another Yautja's hunt, others don't count, so if he did want to butcher you up, it's fine.

Resolved - Case was an accident; given this the first misstep from spooky, he owned up, and it's minor, no punishments are given for this report.
