Oh boy I had a passion for this game. I Marine mained, medic/doc, sometimes simple marine. I had OD charts, pill color table (when it was an issue), I wrote down how much unit every pill has in my lifesaver bag and many more. So I know. What I need to know. I had an exercise book for this game...maan. I wasnt good in it, I was just passionate.
Then I started to loathe the devs. Because it was all about what I cant and what I shouldn't. It was all about xenos need to be a menace. I felt like my hands are being tied, and benos get a free step every turn because they NEED it. Because they are weak and we are too strong. So we need our hands tied, stuff taken away, nerfed, limited, cornered and cut. So we are even. Like in real life.
Your player count was almost doubled at HvH events! People hate this shit...the beno shit. Even benos I think.
I loved this game because it was unorthodox, unconventional, that I had freedom, and the danger that comes with it. Nobody held my hand, nobody restricted me. Then the changelogs came.

Xenos were made weaker, but more were added to balance this out. Marines should really be standing a chance right now. I like the alien stuff, but the devs are also working on adding a HvH mode to the map cycle which I'm looking forward to.

I just gotta ask, things look bright ahead so why jump out now?

Example: Lets say I play lego, I have an Star Wars X-wing set, but I use it to make a Wind turbine. And its cool, the wings fit right. Then the devs take it away, coz I dont use it as it is intended, and it breaks the game.
What I want to see, is that the other side makes a strong solarpanel powerplant, by taking apart a fucken star destroyer and then kicks my ass.
And Im like...nice one. Sir, you played me.
I want xeno T1 caste to be able to hunt for smallhosts, near the edge of the map. Like a skill, every 30 sec you get one (or make them spawn). Make tallhost larvae stronger and all those xenos stronger. Limit some castes for tallhosts.
For every smart move, build marines make, make 2 more for xenos.

I want charging queens, cloked shotgunner specs, marines with autoinjectors and pills and HealthHUDs. Xenos devouring facehuggers and spiting them, some xenos walking on the ceiling, half invisible and harder to shoot at. Surgery having a sterile dome that can be deployed at the Colony, and so on.

I will try to explain: Why did you do the modifications to CIC and SD? Why did you added those service tunnels? You can circle around CIC, and open the wall halfway into SD. That is the Wheelchair. it was done FOR the xenos. Because when xenos get it hard, you rush to help them out. I fear that even they don't like it. I would not like it.

Just salt like me and play shipside roles. Much better becouse when they are comming to Almayer they can be even unkillable, since this is more of a "horror" experience.

BTW - Xenos are fairly weak in comparsion, but handholding makes it double.

I don't understand this though, you say that you really enjoyed this game and that when marines were 'handicapped' and xeno majors were excessive you continued to play unhappily. Now that the balance is more even and possibly tilted in marine favour, you leave the game sure but you also complain about it without offering anything constructive?
