I wanted to come here today to talk about the amazing inspiration of the FPS genre for alien shooter games such as Natural Selection 1, and the successors of the Alien Colonial Marines :TM: games.

I have a bunch of friends that said this was one of their first games and mods off of the original Half Life, and they are middle aged now - this mod goes back!
This was also before the luxuries that the internet has now for it's gamers.. that's hardcore dedication for a mod!

This mod was specifically amazing for PvP combat involving building up resources and fighting off aliens. YOU TECHNICALLY can still play this, but would have to join public servers (if any left) or create your own. This is a masterpiece of a mod and always will be, was fun to play it with max of 32 players.
