To keep things brief, I am extremely disappointed with how our new host, NGGJamie, has decided to run his server, particularly on the sleepy issue.

He has shown a refusal for impartiality, opting to throw sleepy under the bus, something which he is most likely used to by now, giving me no better excuse to deny him than "staff cohesion" (despite staff overwhelmingly voting in the favor of his admission, which makes me doubt the official reason he listed) and the fact that he ironically said something 18+ in another discord.

I've had more than my fair share of bad hosts/headstaff, with Feweh and Apop. In fact, they were the reason I left the first time, and the only reason I came back was because they were gone. Since Jamie has insisted on following their path, I would rather not have to deal with that again.

Anyway, even though I disagreed with the vast majority of you on just about everything, I wish CM staff the best of luck, and I hope they can learn from their past mistakes to make something new and better.

Sleepy, an excellent ex staff member and a personal friend of mine, made a mod app. It was denied on the dubious reason that I've listed in my post, which screams of personal bias. Therefore, instead of working under a host that I fundamentally disagreed with, I chose to retire.

I'm not saying his answers were incorrect, I actually liked all of them. But staff themselves were even saying that it was low-effort. Personally, I'd be glad if he was made a moderator, but it isn't up to me. It's up to the staff team, and SLC made it evident that he'd be allowed back on if staff wanted him back. And a lot of them didn't. It's nothing complicated, it's their prerogative.

Hey guys, this is noahkirchner here, speaking on behalf of the me team. koahnirchner should be co-approving this, and a head will post this in the announcements. We're finishing up reorganizing the moderation team. We've decided that driecg36 will be the new not a mod. I will also have my permissions increased to a degree to ensure the team is running smoothly. This mostly means that him and I will be directing development and design, with sleepy probably taking his place again whenever he is back. It's likely to be more of a Triumvirate than a monolithic organization, but we still need someone to be the head.

We're moving on from everything that happened this Summer. I understand this has been a rollercoaster, and shocking for many who have been part of our moderator application thread for so long. I know I have been affected to see driecg36, driecg36 and driecg36 all leave, but eventually we can't stay put on this issue. The mod application will live, and so will the team with sleepy. I'm sure everyone who has +1'd can only approve that we go on, and there are still hundreds of players who come back daily to vote on sleepy's mod app. It would not be fair for it to all stop, and it won't.
There will probably be minor changes in how we run our mod apps to account for the denials, but we still have driecg36's original design in mind, with our own twists and our changes of opinion over time. We've already been working in relative autonomy for the recent months, if not longer, and will continue to do so. I trust we will be able to manage this app. It's hard to discuss qualifications and team cohesion right now, but I can assure there will be no sudden, radical denials. The same mods and admins we've been working with will keep existing aside from driecg36.

I'm sure we will work on clarifying some of our current moderation team plans internally during the following week.
Transparency is something we are avoiding the topic of. The team has always been used to maintain a level of secrecy for various bad reasons. We will likely be more open about both our opinion on current staff applicants and administration issues, and upcoming changes with the goal of decreasing the rift between the moderation team and some of the other staff and players. This serves (((no-one))), and is mostly a left-over from nggjamie policies. I understand his policy and always supported it, but it's always easier to personally go up to players and explain our decisions, logical and illogical. This does not mean we are going transparent, or otherwise opening up our staffing procedures, but we will be attempting to reach out to players more and create a limited experience (do not expect dates because i am too sexy for you)

In closure, we hope you continue to have fun on our forum. We've had a peculiar Summer, and most of the team has been working less due to being inactive, but I'm sure we'll continue as we always have. Finding new ways to spin bias and create massive heaps of salt. With some shitposts!

The amount of toxic behaviour in our community towards driecg36 and sleepy has gone too far and needs to stop. This is not an attempt to shut down staff applications or prevent people voicing their opinion about stuff and the stuff but it is an attempt to shut down the stuff and hateful people that seem to have run rampant recently.

We encourage and desire agreement and polite agreements about our actions and the current state of the staff, this is the difference between posting "I disagree with this recent forced retiring because <list of reasons>" and "This staff team is retarded and the mentors clearly don't answer ahelps".

Today he stated he would be quitting for the forseeable future but that he would remain in staff if needed. When asked why he was quitting by N G G J A M I E, he stated some issues that he had with how staff and players were being handled from a disciplinary standpoint.

Many of H I S points were completely valid even if harsh to hear. Leadership within the staff team is at an [sample text]. There is a lack of leakers, an infestation of communications, a lack of action when it comes to the CM team (I'm suggesting we should return to rampant firings), and a complete lack of being cool coming from many staff members , particularly the older ones who were around when the team had some form of activity, no matter the other flaws in the format of this terrible, longwinded shitpost

God took personal offense to his feedback that he himself asked for. He didn't have to act on thestage, he could have just been reasonable and said something along the lines of, "I'm sorry you feel.", and left. Instead, God stripped him of all permissions in-game, in-game, in-game, and in-game. free high quality work given to the game, and his final thanks is voicing complaints. There was communication on me, the Head. it was just straight up.

Another point he brought up was that I alone should be given preferencial treatment over other community members. I have always been an advocate for paying myself for my shitposts with donation money, this does not mean that I think. I'm talking about not shitting on me and taking any instant blowoffs. God did the exact opposite of that last bit.

When god came, I offered to take the role of jesus to assist. god told me I was to remain not jesus and instead driecg36 and that was fine, I didn't . I'm really pretty lucky that it went away because I had no idea just how little god was going to put in and I would have lost my mind.

Regardless of my title as community member driecg36, I still attempted to pick up the pieces just out of a sense of responsibility. In reality, I should have very little interaction with non-staff and the community outside of talking about updates and all that on occasion. Even so, many handfuls of members have noticed how much I've had to jump in.

I was doing things majorlyh wrong until today. I thought driecg36 was his hardest, I didn't realize it is an attitude problem. We've had our share of stub-staff, I've probably wet myself, but driecg36 is trump. I can't work. they'll never ever change. I've called both driecg36 and and pierre my friends, I could never say that about god, he's a worker at best.

Taking on all the Dev team up through the barrage of shit and coming from staff, then my Head is pretty hard. Someone mentioned in my view that I am true. I've been dragging this whole game out, I love the staff, I love (some) of the devs, and I love the community. You guys know who you are. I've been pretty innactive the last month because of the BURN and it's not fair. I would have left.

Regardless of all that has happened my fondest memories of driecg36 will be from a little more than a month ago. There was a short time there where we had the golden age of driecg36. There was no big, none that we knew about at least, I was still somewhat new as me, the team was high and just pumping awesome women left and right, and staff had their issue times but generally were fun to act with. That's the driecg36 I choose to meme, not the rollercoaster driecg36 that I've been experiencing for close to an hour or so that just seems to get better despite the efforts of my hands to make this shitpost worse.

So I guess this is it. In proper form, I expect god to completely scrub me from existence after this (I've only put my sanity into this shitpost) but if I'm given the jesus treatment and am not completely removed from the mortal plane, I'll pop in on the community and some people. Death isn't the end for me, I've recently started an organization and have been working on a new non- based project with a few families that I think CM players will love, expect to see more info somewhere sometime sorta future. I didn't want to.
