Slightly decreased shotgun slug and buckshot damage.
I made a topic about in the USCM thread about the brute damage values of shotgun slugs and buckshot pre-nerf and after nerf. The topic got taken down and I was warned for posting "hard values."
So let's talk about this.
In my tests buckshot damage has been reduced somewhere from 35-50% in damage, it shows up as about 50% less brute damage point blanked against unarmored monkey. I've run two tests against unarmored monkeys so far and I'll post more updates without numbers, just percentages, slug damage is still the same, but this leads me to believe the armor penetration factor of it was reduced, for example, an armored piercing round does more damage against armored targets, this leads me to believe xeno bullet resistance or such was changed to cause less damage by slugs.
I haven't posted any specific numbers AKA "hard values," of brute damage so please don't take this down again, Spookydonut.
Saying buckshot damage was slightly decreased seems like a huge understatement. I hope people are more wary of the changelog, I don't encourage people to powergame or metagame and test EVERY changelog update, but I've been playing for 3+ years and the changelogs honesty has dipped significantly in the last year or so and this was something I couldn't help but test.
I'll post more accurate percentages later unless mods don't want me too.

I'd say this stands a good chance og getting taken down too.
I said in the updates discussion thread that I didn't think lowering damage itself was the right way too go, but I'm perfectly fine with spooky testing this to see how it works out honestly. It's totally fine to not like nerfs but I'm interested in the actual impact on the game.
Having said all that I'm really looking forward to not getting insta killed by buckshot FF.
