Yes, although it happens very rarely this is something that can happen. (In my opinion, something that should happen more often. Or at least suspensions.)
It is only fair that someone not living up to the standards we set for commanders gets their whitelist removed/revoked/suspended.
Commanders are an example to the crew and should show this to all players.
Do you understand how the Battlefield Execution functions?
Yes, I have a good grasp on the battlefield execution. It is one of the many tools a CO has. And in my opinion a last resort kind of tool.
I prefer to go through other channels unless I really have to use it.
One of the reasons is that it is a horrible thing to be a victim of as a player and often leads to a player report/upset person.
The moments I will use it are to stop the escalation of certain situations. And as a tool to protect my command crew and mp's.
It is not there to get around the mp's nor is it there to use as much as you can. It is a tool that should be avoided if possible.
Do you understand you are not above Marine law, or allowed to enforce it yourself?
Yes, A CO is there mostly for macro objectives and mission control. They are there to create order in chaos and this is something that will likely cause issues and get you a mutiny.
I should let it go and get/trust mp's to handle it their way. There are often other tools that one can use in these situations that will lead to better results. Carrot/stick.
It is the cmp their job to do so and not the Commander their job to take away this right from the CMP.
What do you think is the job of a Commander?
I think a commander their job is wide and important. I will give a short list of the things I think a Commander should be.
1. The Commander is the highest normal marine rank. They are there as the final decision maker on most things.
2. The Commander is a stabilizing factor someone who rallies the marines and gets all noses pointed in the same direction.
3. The Commander is there to improve the round. They are there to make the round better.
4. It is the goal of a good commander to improve the chances of successfully handling the operation.
5. A commander is in the spotlight but also makes it fun by putting other marines in the spotlight!
If a member of your staff is disobeying orders, how would you handle it?
It honestly depends on the kind of staff member disobeying orders.
Anyone in cic. (Xo or SO.) Will get a sitdown with me where I try to get them to see the bigger plan.
If it is something else shipside like a doctor I will likely get another doctor to do it.
Even as an XO I try not to order around enlisted. The only enlisted who will get my orders are squad leaders.
These can be difficult to deal with. I might withdraw support or demote them using overwatch.
Other enlisted will not often get specific orders from me.
Why should you be whitelisted?
I think the past is the past and stuff has improved over the last 6 weeks. I am a player who does not follow the 'meta' this does lead to tactics that might be less then optimal.
But I do win rounds and I also think it provides interesting rounds. Playing the same every round leads to stagnation.
I am one to try something new and interesting both as queen and Xo when I play them.
This can lead to early deaths, short rounds or even long rounds. But it is part of what makes cm cm and cm fun.
I also think that I am ready for the role as I have been playing a lot of XO and SO and can handle the duties of being a Commander.
If I am whitelisted I can provide fun rounds with interesting tactics.
