Vadim's Commander Application (Nwd72)
Byond ID: Nwd72
Player name you use the most: Vadim Dmitriev

None, at all, that I know of.
Do you understand that any player - even donors or staff members - can have their whitelist status revoked should they break our Server Rules or Roleplay Guidelines?
I do understand.
Do you understand how the Battlefield Execution functions?
A Battlefield Execution is a last resort, of sorts for the Commander, when the person you are dealin' with are a massive threat to the mission at hand, and you cannot work around them, or dispatch a MP to deal with them.
A BE should not be used, in the cases of disrespect, or other minor cases akin to that.
Do you understand you are not above Marine law, or allowed to enforce it yourself?
I do understand, as a CO should not be enforcing marine law, at all. He should be focusing his time commanding his force, instead of dealing with the MP's issues, anyhow.
What do you think is the job of a Commander?
The job of the commander is to coordinate the ground forces, and to coordinate logistics if required, which is in this case, req, to make sure the marines get the supplies required.
They are not meant to go rambo, on the ground, to be a fifth smartgunner.
If a member of your staff is disobeying orders, how would you handle it?
I would ask him to follow orders, and if he believes they are illogical, ask his suggestion. If I disagree with it, I will order him to carry on his orders, and if he refuses, that, he will be detained for insubordination,
if it is a major issue, and if he is actively attempting to kill the ground forces, such as launching a OB into the center of the FOB, it would be logical to BE if no MPs are onhand.
Why should you be whitelisted?
I believe I am a decently competent SO and XO, though I could use a little work, as I tend to play it more aggressively with my troops.

Re: Vadim's Commander Application (Nwd72)
Shame noone has commented here yet, anyway, you're a good leader, you know how the chain of command and CIC works in general. You might be a little bit on the unknown side playerwise but I feel like whitelisting you is a great opportunity for other people to meet Vadim. You certainly have the roleplay skills to handle this role well, proved by several interactions we've had. Your applications has some effort put into it and I believe further questions and answers would improve your chances.
During briefing, a huge fight ensued. Both delta and charlie are in a huge fight, irrelevant who started it and why, there is only one MP that is already out of flashbangs and any other means of stopping a mass amount of people. The briefing flasher is on a cooldown and doesn't seem it works as a deterrent, as people still keep fighting and shaking each other up and even bringing the fight elsewhere. There are reports of knives and even shots fired with a supressor. How do you handle this situation? If you don't manage to break up the fight, what would you announce and how would you deal with possible deployment?
This is a very realistic situation that has already happened once and how you as a commander handles it means a lot.
Neutral leaning towards +1 depending on your answer.

Re: Vadim's Commander Application (Nwd72)
In the situation above, I would first try simple solutions, such as appealing to both Charlie & Delta to halt, with somethin' such as free AP, and if that does not work, and you cannot have the ringleaders detained, as they are unknown, you will simply hold one of the two squads, on the shipside, 'till they issue a formal apology, or, optionally, until the other squad has deployed, as on the ground, I've never seen fights occur between squads, only intersquad, and given time, the issue will likely resolve, and even if it does not, they are not goin' to waste time fighting, if they get into combat, and the few who do, can be singled out by OW officers. If the squad that was ordered to hold shipside, refuses, and considering that you still lack MPs, a phantom threat could work, and until the other squads that were ordered to deploy, are groundside, it will be "alive" then the phantom threat will be killed off by a "brave MT" that will remain nameless, once the squad is ready to deploy, but it is logical to of course inform your bridge officers, of the phantom threat that will occur, in person, as command comms are likely being used by the SL of the squad shipside. My solution tries to avoid direct confrontation, as to avoid harm, and also considering that a ringleader(s) is unknown, and you have a lack of MPs, it would be best to avoid direct confrontation with them. Think of it, as you will. I'll respond to more questions, later on in the day.

+1 good and active player ingame, not bad app,
And decent answers when questioned. forum activity could use some work but that’s something that comes in time.
