Byond ID: Frans_Feiffer
Marine Name (so we know who you are; if you play alien mostly, state that here): Frans 'Friendly' Feiffer
Coincidentally when I joined staff, I began to play Xeno a lot more here and there though.
Name of the character you want whitelisted (The name your predator will use. This must match your in-game predator name): Yeyin-Teer
Are you familiar with the
Predator Code Of Honor? Aye, I made sure to reread it before making this application, but even before now I have made sure to read through the Honor code to ensure I not only abide by it, but understand it when applied to certain scenarios. To make an App and not understand the Honor code is to set oneself up for failure.

It had been day's since Yeyin r'ka, a recently blooded Yautja, and his clanmates had been sent from their homeworld, Yautja Prime to the clans hunting grounds upon the planet LV-240. At last though, they had jumped into their destined system, and had begun to orbit the planet that for decades now had been extorted by the clan for it's ample supply of Xenomorphs, The perfect prey as they knew it. Yeyin, alongside his fellow clanmates began to make preparations for the upcoming hunt, and before long everything was set. The Yautja began to pack into their pods, each equipped with everything they would need for their extended stay on the planet and once everyone was ready, they each began to deploy to the planet's surface. Once there, they first devoted their time to setting up a proper lodge as to ensure they had a fallback point for the clan after any and all trophies were made out of the prey they were sure to kill. It wasn't until the lodge was properly made that Yeyin had a chance to observe his surroundings. The Surface was rich in Jungles, deep cave systems, and old ruins the Yautja of his clan long ago had constructed. A faint smell of rain, and a sky full of clouds that blocked the sun's ray's just enough to darken the landscape had confirmed reports they had made upon the Mothership, that a Rainstorm was present upon the planets surface, and nearing the clans hunting grounds. This was no problem to the overly eager Youngblood though, and It was after he assessed his surroundings for the first time since they landed that without hesitation, the Youngblood had jumped into the Brush to join his Clan in the hunt.
Without a care, the Youngblood had made his way through the thick jungle and it wasn't long after that the Youngblood had come to a brief clearing, of which he found a lone Lurker dragging a Farwa back to it's hive. Before he had realized the Mature Lurkers presence, it was far too late for the element of surprise, as the Lurker had quickly dropped the smallhost it was dragging, and set it's attention completely upon the bulking mass that was Yeyin, positioning itself for a pounce. The beast let out a screech, and pushed itself off of the ground in the direction of the blooded Yautja, though Yeyin saw this coming, and just barely managed to roll out of the way, pulling his combistick from his waist and extending it. Blood coursing through his veins, he let out a War cry of his own and charged the beast. Once he had found himself in stabbing distance, Yeyin swung the spear down hard upon the enemy, but it's carapace had deflected most of the blow. Shrugging it off, the Lurker swept it's tail at Yeyin in return, hitting him across the forearm and forcing him to drop his combistick. Almost immediately after this strike, the Lurker used the opportunity to pounce again, but Yeyin was more then ready for the pounce, as he sidestepped it, grabbed the Xenomorph by the crest, retracted his wristblades and brought them down upon the creatures neck. The Acid had begun to melt it's way through his wristblades ever so slightly, but the damage had been dealt, and the Lurker had passed. He had obtained his first kill of the hunt. Yeyin, full of nothing but adrenaline, had allowed the Carcass to fall to the ground. Rearing his head skyward, he let out a triumphant roar before he retracted his Wristblades back into their resting position, repaired the wounds upon his arm, and began the work of turning his prey into a trophy.
Yeyin pulled his Ceremonial Dagger from his belt, and began to work on turning the carcass of his prey into a worthy trophy. While working away, he was left victim to his thoughts, in which he began to replay the encounter repeatedly through his head. Thoughts of what he could've done better, and how much of a fool he had been to have rushed in blindly were at the forefront of his mind, and it was then he swore to himself he would never make a fool out of himself like that again, else it could make him prey to a far more experienced, battle-worn foe. He was just about done polishing his trophy, when the rain had finally begun to steadily drop upon the clan's hunting grounds. The Youngblood could feel that the storm was only to get worse, but he paid this no mind. He quickly finished the last of polishing his trophy, and strung it up under a tree, as to provide it cover from the storm, and ensure he would be able to find it after he was ready to retire for night. He was ready to continue the hunt, when suddenly a painful roar was let out by one of his fellow Yautja. He wasn't quite sure who the roar had originated from, but his curiosity was spiked, thus he switched his Bio-masks vision-mode in an effort to determine which direction the roar had come from, and it wasn't long before he had picked up the heat-signatures of his Clansmen. He quickly jumped into the trees, and made his way to observe what had caused the Yautja to let out such a roar.
Not too long after he begun jumping from tree to tree, the rain had become even harsher, impairing his vision just enough to slow him down, but not entirely preventing him from seeing his surroundings. Finally, after some time, he came across the Yautja, and was both shocked and angered with the sight he was met with. barely standing, the Youngblood had his right arm ripped clean off, his Wrist-Gauntlet out of reach, preventing him from blowing him and his attackers up. He stumbled slowly to his arm, though he was injured to the point walking was a chore. It wasn't until after assessing the situation, that Yeyin had realized the Youngblood's attackers were nowhere to be seen, yet he could somewhat hear them moving through the brush around the Youngblood. He continued to watch the scene unfold, knowing that it was dishonorable to interfere with the fight, when suddenly out of the brush, A lurker from the left, and a Lurker from the right had jumped out, landing directly on top of the Youngblood, pinning him down, and pulling him away into the brush. Yeyin, after realizing the severity of the situation, mocked the Youngblood for allowing himself to be caught off guard by the 2 creatures and captured. He cloaked, dropped down to grab the Fallen hunters arm, and jumped back into the trees, following close by to the lurkers, waiting for the perfect opportunity to strike. He knew he had to prevent them from getting the Youngblood back to their hive, and he had to do it soon or else the Clan would be in deep trouble.
The rain had finally reached it's worst, making it impossible for Yeyin to see more then 5 feet infront of him, when it dawned on him now would be the perfect time to switch his vision modes so as to be able to see the Lurkers through the rain. After a second of adjusting, Yeyin found the right mode, and scanned the area for the sight of the 2 Lurkers. It didn't take long before he reacquired his targets and continued pursuit. He could tell they were nearing the hive, as his vision mode could detect the Xenomorphs resin covering the area roughly 150 meters and front of them, and he knew he had to strike now rather then later. As he prepared himself to pounce on the enemy, he was rewarded for his patience with a distraction; The fallen Youngblood had come to, and began to struggle. The Lurkers, attempting to keep him under control were unaware of Yeyin, and he took the moment to launch himself from the trees, uncloaking and landing directly on top of the Lurker to the right of the Youngblood. Not only had he caught the Lurkers off guard, but he even managed to spook the Youngblood, who had stopped his squirming and stared wide eyed up at Yeyin. Before anyone could react, Yeyin pounced at the remaining Lurker, and fortunately for him, this Lurker was not as fine-tuned for a fight as he was. He landed directly on top the Lurker, an audible crack from the creatures Carapace could be heard as the full weight of the Predator had landed directly on top of the creature. The Lurker did the best it could to squirm out of Yeyin's grip, but it was too late. He retracted his wrist blade and finished it off, the blood of the creature taking it's tole on the already damaged wrist blades, and eating it's way through the last remains of the metal. Upon killing his prey, he began to rear his head to the heavens to let out a war cry, but his victory was short-lived as the first Lurker had managed to survive, and had pounced on him. He was given no time to react, and before he knew it, the two were locked together, squirming to overpower the other. Had the Predator not been able to think on his feet, he would've fallen to his prey, however this was not the case. Yeyin let out a hiss at the creature on top of him, and reached for his ceremonial dagger. In no ordinary circumstance would he resort to using it, however the small decorated blade was his last trick. His hand found what it was looking for, and almost without thought, he plunged the blade deep into the Lurkers chest, acid spewing out of the wound and beginning to chew it's way though his breastplate. It wasn't long before the creature was forced to loosen it's grip, and Yeyin used the chance to kick the beast off of him. With a thud, the beast collided with a tree nearby, and Yeyin used the time while it was stunned to grab out his combistick, retract it, and throw it at the beast ahead of him. The spear made a satisfying tearing noise as it connected with the Xenomorphs head, and continued forward, only stopping after wedging itself into the tree. This time, Yeyin was met with no resistance as he let out a mighty roar to the gods above him.
Yeyin, pleased with his work, had begun to remove the melting chest plate, collect his weapons, and turn the carcasses of his prey into trophies, when a clicking noise was heard, to which his attention was brought back to the Wounded Youngblood behind him. He stood up, retrieved the limb he had made sure to return and made his way to his fellow hunter. He looked down upon the Yautja with dismay and anger, for the Youngblood had fallen for the Lurkers trap, and paid gravely for it. He threw the limb back to it's owner, and clicked his mandibles at him. No words were exchanged, but both Yautja knew just what the other was thinking. The Youngblood gave a nod, and reached weakly for his limb, in order to activate his Self-destruct. Even if Yeyin had worked to bring the Youngblood back to the lodge, after the hunt he would more then likely be sold into slavery for those who come out of the hunt whole. A fate worse then death, which to Yeyin justified the Yautjas self-destruction. Yeyin quickly began to gather his trophies, and jumped back into the trees in order to collect his first trophy. He had decided it was a good time around then to return to his clans lodge. He felt a sense of pride in himself, for on his first hunt after becoming blooded, he had gathered 3 trophies. Each, a reminder of the lessons he learned while in combat, and each a reminder of the mistakes he vowed to never make while on the hunt. The sound of rain, and an explosion in the distance were the only noises to be heard throughout, and it was because of this that Yeyin was again left to his thoughts, to which he spent replaying the fights he had come across, and thinking of how to handle them on his next hunt.
How do you intend to play your predator (as in, describe HOW you will act/play your predator)? I intend to play Yeyin r'ka as a Overly-proud, yet cunning Predator who values self-improvement above all. His goal is to learn the most about himself he can with every hunt, and use this knowledge to improve himself in later bouts. Prey of his that can provide him this self-improvement are seen as more worthy trophies, then one that would be an easy kill. In the beginning of a round, I'll play Yeyin r'ka as more Abrasive, and willing to lunge out at those who he deems worthy, but as the round continues, depending on the situations he is faced with, will become more patient and aware of his surroundings. That isn't to say early round i'll be murderboning everything, or anything, just he will act more aggressive, but unrefined then mellow out as the round goes on.
Why should we whitelist you? As Predator you're not the main character. You're another Obstacle in the way of the protagonists (Marines) which is an aspect of CMs gameplay I enjoy. I tend to prefer not being the main character, but to instead make the round more interesting for those who feel as if they do play the role of main character, for better or for worse. That's why when I play CO, I try to play it as if I were the DM, spicing up the round for those under my control, but not making the focus of that round around me as best I can. Regardless, I feel as though Predator would be perfect for such gameplay, as Predators while enticing salt here and there, when played right tend to create campfire-esque stories for those who come in contact with the mighty Warrior Race (Not Saiyans, but Yautjas.) to share with those who listen. I won't be the one running the show, but I get to play the role of a boss character in a sense (Smough is a Yautja, confirmed.) Not just Marines, but even Xenos may fear, which makes the premise of going on the hunt all the more entertaining to me. I am also a Moderator, and Commander to which you must abide by stricter then normal rules, and thus I feel the chances of breaking said rules is unlikely. I do understand we're all human though, and if I do mess up somewhere down the road I plan to take full responsibility for my actions.
Have you been banned from CM in the last month for any reason (we will check, and lies may result in immediate denial)? No, I have not once been banned on CM.
Are you currently banned from any other servers and if so, why? No, I don't play any other servers enough to get banned.
Do you understand that any player - donor or otherwise - can have their whitelist status revoked should they break our rules or disobey the Predator Code of Honor? Aye, which is something I respect. If you're not going to take a role seriously, depending on the severity/repetitiveness of your actions, I believe it is only fair that your right to play that role is revoked. Here's to hoping I never have to worry about this though, as I have no intent to lose this whitelist if I am to gain it.
